"Myla, I want you to meet Elijah Grayson, he's part of your welcoming committee," Harry said, I snapped back to reality.
"Elijah?" I said in disbelief. Throughout my friendship with Nathaniel, he never mentioned having a brother.
"I believe you were friends with his twin brother Nathaniel," he said, I glared at him while Elijah just raised an eyebrow at me.
"Then I guess you two will be more than happy to be reunited," Elijah said and my eyes widened in shock.
"I doubt he'll be happy about that," I said quietly and turned to Harry.
"Myla, you're the strongest person I know, you'll be just fine," Harry said, he was a chill Principal, most times he felt more like a friend to me than a principal.
"Ok..." I sighed, walking towards the car.
"Let me help you with that," Elijah said trying to collect my backpack and I pulled away.
"He's just trying to be nice Myla," Harry said. I sighed and apologized to Elijah.
"No worries," he said. "We better get going, so we don't delay the plane," he said again.
I turned to Harry, "Don't worry, I'm only a phone call away," he said, and I hugged him.
"It's just a pity she didn't show up," I said referring to my mother.
"She loves you, don't forget that" he said pulling away from the embrace. I took a deep breath and walked over to the Camaro, put my heavy backpack in the backseat, and settled in the passenger seat.
"Don't forget to show them hell, Myla!" Harry yelled as the car sped off.
"You and Mr Maddon have an interesting relationship. Are you guys alright with this long-distance thing?" he said, and I burst out laughing. "I'm sorry. I just assumed that because of how close you guys looked..."
"Harry's like 16 years older than me, and he's more like a brother to me, " Elijah looked at me surprised.
"Why do you call him by his first name then?" he asked.
"When I entered high school, I'd always get into trouble because I was going through a rough patch. Rebelling was my coping mechanism; Harry saw past all that and helped me. He's the one who told me to call him that," I explained.
"So, are you excited to go to Rayton?" he asked again, I shivered, the thought of being in the same school with Nathaniel both excited and terrified me. I'm not even sure he'd recognize me, I started straightening my hair and grew it out. Even my attitude's different now and if I introduced myself to him as 'Myla', he wouldn't even suspect I'm the friend he abandoned.
"I'm guessing by the expression on your face you're one of the hearts my brother broke, right?""Not exactly. It's complicated," it isn't. How would I tell this carbon copy that I despise his brother and hope he burns in hell?

"Welcome to Rayton Academy, Myla," Edward said as we stood at the magnificent entrance of the school. Beverly Hills, that's where the school was located. I'm going to be in a school filled with snobbiest children ever.
"Don't worry, you'll love the school," Elijah said beside me.
"Elijah, tell Angie to meet me in my office right now," Andrew instructed. Elijah nodded and headed into the school. "This way, Myla," he instructed. As we headed away from the main entrance.
"I still don't know why you chose me, not one of the nerds. They would die for this opportunity, literally" I asked, he shrugged.
"At first I didn't even consider you because of your record, but Harry insisted on you. He said you were a far more interesting case, and I'm willing to see things change around here" He explained. Very soon we came up to a smaller building which I assumed was his office, we entered, and he told me to take a seat.
