6- Old Friends

We were on our way to our first meeting, Dean, this week was really going to be an old friends week. But I think knowing about our past and making peace with it will make us both stronger.

- Same Rory, and you...
- Dean this is Logan my fiancee
- Nice meeting you Logan
- I would say same but I kinda met you before
- Really? I don't recall it
- Back when you dumped Rory at her party, I was there
- Oh, I think I remember you. Just so you know Rory and I had a meaningful relationship, but it was never meant to last, she made me who I am and I will always be grateful, she is my friend and I wish her nothing but happiness. I know I wasn't the best boyfriend back then
- And I was far from being the perfect girlfriend
- But we realized we were better off as friends, after being apart for a while we met in starshallow and catched up ever since then she's been nothing but an amazing friend
- I know you never ment to hurt Rory. And if only for her sake I hope we can be friends too, Rory has made it clear she wants you a part of this family
- Family?
- Dean I'm pregnant
- Oh my god Ror I'm so happy for you, for both of you, I must tell Jenny you know she's pregnant too, she'll be a bit older but maybe they can be friends
- I would like nothing more. Dean I also wanted to give you this
I handed him my wedding invitation
- It would mean so much for you to be there, and your family of course, you can even invite your sister.
- Rory I am honoured I will definitely be there. It was nice seeing you

After that we got back in the car first meeting went quite well, now the hard one. Jess and Logan had actually met and Logan knew everything about how he hurted me when I was young so I knew this one would be harder.

We drove back to new York where we would meet with Jess. To my surprise the meeting went well. Of course Luke had already told him everything but he was happy to hear it from me. Logan and him worked out a sort of pact they would get on well for my happiness, that was so cute from both of them.

- Logan I just wanted to thank you for everything you did today
- It was nothing Ace, you know I just want to see you happy
- And so do I, so where are we meeting Odette?
- We are going to Paris, in fact we are headed to the airport now
- But there's no airport here
- Oh yes Ace, we are flying private
- Are you crazy? This costs a fortune
- Do you even know who you are talking to, I own a private jet
- Of course you do

I won't lie, the flight was awesome, I had never flown private before, Logan was always sourprising me. When we got to Paris we went to a nice restaurant near the Eiffel tower where we met Odette

- Odette is nice seeing you again
- You too Logan and this must be famous Rory
- Hi I'm Rory, not sure about the famous part though
- Oh believe me you are, don't worry my parents don't know anything about you and Logan, as far as their concerned their heriess wanted her own life
- I know I ruined it for you and I'm sorry Odette but I really love Logan and I never wanted to hurt you or anyone in the way but I know I did
- You did me a favour, I did hope Logan and I could make it work and actually fall in love, but we all know that was not going to happen.
- Taking about love, Rory and I are getting married, and I want to stay friends with you, just like you told me before, so on that end we wanted to invite you to our wedding.
- Logan I will definitely be there, thanks for including me

We stayed a couple of days at pairs before heading back to the states to make the final arrangements. It was when Logan was out that Mitchum called me with shocking news.

- Logan I need to talk to you
- What happend Ace?
- Your dad called me
- What did he say, did he insult you?
- No not really, he- he said you have a kid, and no not our kid, one that is now 15, with a highschool girlfriend of yours.

- No, no, I really don't want to believe this but I need some space now, I'm flying back alone, in a normal plane we can talk back there
