Rory and Logan - What now?

17- Out of the blue

Authors note: Heyy thank you so much for reading I hope you are enjoying it. This is personally my favourite chapter and it's by far the longest one but I promise it's worth it

Logan's POV

I was as happy as could be. I had my beautiful wife, my Ace, laying with me on the sofa. We were just chilling, watching some movies eating junk food just as she liked it. Seeing her smile, laugh, it was all I needed. Suddenly my happy thoughts were interrupted by the door bell.

- Ace, are you expecting someone?
- Not that I know of, wait here I'll open the door
- Hey Rory
- Paul? What are you doing here?
- May I come in
- Amm - yeah sure
- Who's him?
- Logan this is Paul, my ex. Paul this is Logan my husband
- Hey Paul
- Logan

We shaked hands as a sign of respect I suppose. I was so thrown out. What was he doing here.

- Rory I'm here to ask you a question, have you ever done a DNA test, of the baby
- Paul I - no. It's Logan's
- I know you were cheating with him, but I still stand the chances that baby is mine
- Are you kidding she always forgot about you, this baby is mine
- Yes Paul, Logan is right, I'm sorry I know I wasn't good to you, damn I even forgot to break up with you
- I knew you wouldn't give in so easily Rory, so let's do this the hard way, I have a court ordered DNA test, it's my right to know, you have 72 hours
- Okay now it's your time to get our of here. I'll let you know when the results are ready

Rory snaped the door on his face, I must admit I liked that. But right after she started crying, she fell down, I caught her right in time.

- Ace hey, hey calm down. It'll all be fine
- Logan I'm sorry, this baby is yours you don't deserve this
- Neither do you Ace but we have to do this. I don't mean to be rude but, did it ever occurred to you that
- God no, we hadn't had sex in like forever, the last time we slept on the same bedroom we weren't even on the same bed, and I even had to get up to tap because I couldn't sleep
- Okay, but you know, no matter what this test says, I'll be there for you, I'll hold your hand, just like I promised
- Thanks Logan but really there's no chance this baby is someone else's

We went to bed, it had been quite a shock
But I really meant what I said, I loved Rory even if she wasn't pregnant, even if she was pregnant with someone else.

The next morning we got ready to go to the hospital, we wanted to end this as soon as possible. The doctor ran the test and said we just had to wait an hour. It was the longest hour of my life. I trust Rory but even her was broken, she was laying on my shoulder, and samll tears run down her face.

- Hey Ace, remember no matter what I'll be there for you.
- I know
- Mrs. Huntzberger, we have your results
She opened the envelope as she shaked, she even started crying, I didn't want to show it to her but I was scared
- So, what is it Ace?
She could barely speak
- It's, it's yours Logan
I kissed her like I never had. I didn't need a test to believe her, I never even had doubts, but this just made it official, now there was nothing anyone could do to stop us.

Back in the car I could see how Rory was relieved, I was scared all this stress would pay off in the pregnancy, but she was handling it like a pro. She was my Ace after all. She called Paul who asked to meet us and see the actual results, so that's what we did.

- There you are, see, it's Logan's, not yours
- Bullshit you probably had this paid off, I want another
- Paul it's quite enough now
- No it's not Rory I want you back, I want this baby, you were my girl, and he just took you of me
- Paul don't speak to me or my husband like that
- You know what Rory, you're a whore, a fucking liar, a cheater you don't deserve any of this, you are not even that good of a reporter, I'm sure now you'll get any job you want because of course you are a Huntzberger now, aren't you.
Suddenly Rory started covering her ears, and saying "no no I'm not" "please make it stop"
- Logan I can't breathe, please Logan make it stop
She was asking desperately, I hugged her and felt her heart beat, I would kick the shit out of that guy, but first I needed Rory to be fine. I grabbed the phone, made some calls and soon the security guards took him off
- Ace, look at me, it's fine his gone
- No Logan the voices, they're still here
- Ace come here
I hugged her
- Feel my heart beat okay, let's sync our hearts, just like they always are
- I'm sorry Logan I can't, I'm terrible, I don't deserve you, you should hate me, your so successful and I'm a disaster
- No,no,no don't say that okay, look at me, I love you, I will always do and I've always have, no matter what you do, what you don't, your always in my heart okay so now let's breath together, come on go with me, in and out

- once again Ace your doing fine
- In and out
A few minutes went by and she finally calmed down. We left the restaurant as soon as she could walk without shaking. I called Frank to drive us, I wanted to be right next to her, so I couldn't dirve, all me attention was on Rory

- Ace, you know none of what that guy said is true. Your perfect just the way you are, and our little baby will be just like her mother
- Thanks Logan, once again you saved me

She leaned on me and quickly fell asleep, I had heard that panic attacks were tiring but this one really left Rory destroyed. I didn't tell her, but I had ordered a restriction, he now couldn't get more than 5 meters from Rory or he would go to jail. No-one was breaking my Rory. She suddenly woke up

- Oh no, not this again
- What is it Ace?
- I'm having contractions
