Tae couldn't believe his eyes when he saw Y/N all dolled up after her visit to the salon. She looked absolutely stunning, and he was completely captivated by her beauty. It was as if she had transformed into a whole new level of elegance and sophistication.

"Mr. Kim... Mr. Kim, come back to reality, or should I call a priest?" The owner teased Tae about his dazed state. 

Tae playfully replied, "Can you do that? That's a great idea. Please do it ASAP."  He was still lost in his thoughts until a high-pitched giggle from Y/N brought him back to the present moment. The owner leaned in and whispered to Tae, "Hold on to your senses and court her properly." Tae nodded with a smile, fully intending to make the evening special for Y/N.

His heart skipped a beat as he approached her, unable to hide the admiration in his eyes. He extended his hand toward her and said, "Y/N, you look breathtaking."

Y/N blushed at his compliment, feeling a warmth spread through her cheeks. She took his hand, and they walked towards the car together, ready to attend the business party. Tae couldn't help but steal glances at her throughout the evening, feeling incredibly lucky to have her by his side.

As Y/N mingled with the others at the business party, Jin, Namjoon, and Suga praised her transformation, delighted to see her enjoying herself. They still saw her as their little dongsaeng, even though she had grown and changed over the years.

However, the evening took an unexpected turn when Y/N's eyes fell upon a certain someone she had never expected to encounter at the party—her ex. She had hoped to avoid him, especially in the presence of his current girlfriend, who often paraded him around like a trophy, seemingly unaware of his past infidelity. Y/N felt a rush of anxiety, fearing that he might have the audacity to approach her despite the pain he had caused her.

Y/n sought refuge behind Jin, gripping the hem of his shirt as she often did when she wanted to avoid something or someone. Jin understood this unspoken signal well, recognizing that Y/n saw him as her ultimate source of comfort and protection.

Tae couldn't help but wonder why Y/n was hiding behind his Hyung, but he watched in amusement as Jin stepped forward, enveloping Y/n in his long, oversized jacket. It was as if he were shielding his toddler from the world's threats, and Tae couldn't help but find their interaction endearing.

Jin gently asked Y/n what had happened, his protective instincts kicking in.

As Y/n hesitated to speak, her voice trembling, she finally managed to utter a name: "Do.....  Do Hyun, Oppa.... Ch..Choi Do Hyun." Tae raised an eyebrow, curious about the significance of this name, while Jin's protective stance intensified as if preparing to defend Y/N from any danger.

Choi Do Hyun, Aeri's brother, had been responsible for the recent killings. He was on a quest to discover Y/n's true identity, and it seemed he had finally connected the dots at this business party, recognizing Y/n as his ex-girlfriend from four years ago.

When her eyes fell upon him, she started to panic and went to her most comforting place, his Oppa.

Do Hyun was well aware of Y/N's habits and quirks, having dated her in the past. His initial intention had been to use their relationship to gather information about the Kim family's deeds to destroy them, but as time went on, he found himself genuinely falling for Y/N. However, when his attempts to collect information proved futile, he grew frustrated and ultimately gave up on her. His departure from her life had been abrupt and brutal, without a single word of apology.

Now, seeing Y/N as a part of Kim Taehyung's life, he couldn't help but feel a surge of jealousy. She had transformed into a queen in his eyes, belonging to the Kim family, and this newfound knowledge filled him with a sense of regret and resentment.

Jin's protective instincts kicked into high gear as he spotted Choi Do Hyun in the crowd. His gaze locked onto Do Hyun's, and without a second thought, he pulled Y/N closer, enveloping her in his protective embrace. To him, Y/N was like a precious gem, and he wasn't about to let anyone or anything harm her, especially not someone from her past who had caused her pain.

Tae's eyes narrowed as he locked onto Choi Do Hyun. The revelation that Aeri had professed her love for Kim Taehyung seemed to have shaken Do Hyun.

Tae's presence and reputation as one of the most powerful figures in the mafia world were not to be taken lightly. While Do Hyun may have had a history with Y/N, Do Hyun now faced the reality of dealing with a man who commanded immense loyalty and had formidable resources at his disposal. Jin Hyung, why are you looking at Choi Do Hyun like that? Tae asked curiously.

Don't call that bustard by his name; he tried to use our Y/N just to know the business secrets of Kim's, but I trust him cause I think he'll keep our Y/N happy after all, but that bustard... when he got the information, he just left her, and... he left a big scar on her overall being. Tae clenched his teeth just to relax and not kill anyone at that party because he not only broke her but also gave an unknown scar to that girl, whom she considers a lover.

Is that when Y/N was admitted to the hospital and took 1 year to fully heal? Tae questioned nocturnally.

Jin closed Y/N's ears when Tae started to talk about the incident. Jin took Y/N away from Do Hyun's gaze and sat with Tae, Namjoon, Suga, Jhope, and Y/n in a different place. Y/N wants a strong drink, so she gets up from her seat, goes to the bar, and asks for some strong drinks. That time Jin warned Tae, "Never, as I say, never mention that incident in front of her; it's a scar not only on her but also on her motherhood. Just don't ever...Tae also gets up to follow Y/N after getting a scolding from his brother.
