~Y/N'S POV~

We pulled up to school. I looked at the building in disgust, as it was the reason Martha killed herself. The parking lot was empty apart from a few cars here and there. We were about an hour late making it around lunchtime. I made JD stop for slushies and snacks then we were distracted by some dogs playing in a park near the 7-11.

"Are you sure you want to go back? Like I said we can always just get back on the bike and ride to Seattle. I heard it's nice there."
I let out a sigh before answering him.
"Yes I'm sure, it's something I need to do. Don't get me wrong I'd love to leave this shithole and go to Seattle with you. But we wouldn't have high school certificates so it'd be hard to get a job that pays well." I answered, kissing his cheek. With that he let out a sigh and followed me into the hell hole.

"Did you hear the news! I heard Dumptruck and her mother committed suicide yesterday after school." That's all that was circulating through school. With the occasional.
"She deserved it". JD and I walked through the hallway, it felt like a thousand eyes were on me. JD put a reassuring hand on my back as we walked. Through the halls of hell.

The bell rang as we stepped into class.
"You two missed your detention." Miss Flemings sang. I rolled my eyes while JD gave a quick apology. Miss said we'd have to make it up at the end of the day. We both politely agreed and went and sat down.

~Time skip~

The lesson went by quicker than we expected, as did the rest of the day. The bell had rang, signalling JD and I to head to detention.

Miss Flemings had gone to grab some papers from her office to grade while she waited for our 'imprisonment' to be over.
"I want them dead." I said coldly.

I don't think JD was expecting that answer from me. I've been thinking about it since since Martha died, especially about what she would've wanted. But she's dead now so I guess there's no point wondering about what she would've wanted.

"All I need is a name and I'll be your partner in crime my lovey darling" he said so poetic as if he was a poet. He stared at me with this impressed and almost taken aback look on his face. Like he didn't think I would actually take up his offer from the first time we went to 7-11.
The next words I said were coated in malice.

"Veronica Sawyer"

~AN~
HELLO! Sorry this is a short chapter. I wanted to get it out as quickly as possible. I'll also say that I might not post for a while. Christmas is just around the corner and I'll most likely be going to a family members house during the holidays.

That's all from me right now. Stay safe and hydrated and happy holidays :)
