I woke up and I was on the ground staring up at a worried sheriff's deputy face.  Wyatt and Sophie were knelt down next to me; Sophie with her hand in mine.

I sat up resentfully, my head slowly feeling less like it was going to explode.

"Son, are you okay?" The deputy asked, concerned. "Do I need to call for an ambulance?"

I shook my head. "I'm fine. How long was I out?"

"Only a couple of minutes." Wyatt answered. He stood up and held a hand out to me. I took it and he pulled me up. "Officer, I think we're okay. Just take those men away, and we'll be fine."

The deputy stared at us, examining our eyes then nodded. "You folks had better leave this motel soon. It's a hot spot for troublemakers like those guys."

Wyatt nodded. "Will do, Officer. Thanks again for your help."

The deputy slowly walked away, looking back only once more, then got into his cruiser.

Wyatt helped me back into the hotel room and sat me on the bed. Everyone joined us in the room, Jessie shut the door.

They all stared at me.

"Did you have a vision?" Jessie asked. "Was that you having a freaking vision in daylight?" She sounded shocked, and partly scared.

I nodded. "It was the same men." I looked at Sophie who was staring at me intently. There were small tears forming in her eyes. "They did it again. This time in the woods." I clenched my jaw. "It was the same thing. I didn't get their names, I didn't get the girl's last name, but it was clearer this time."

Wyatt sensed something was different. "What else, Drew?" He asked.

"Paige was there." I said. "We saw it together."

Sophie shifted uncomfortably.

"She said she was coming here." I added.

To my surprise this didn't rouse Jessie. In fact she seemed pretty calm. A few moments before she was freaking out, now she was deadly calm. It worried me. "What information did you get?" Jessie asked.

"She is — was — fifteen." Sophie's face pained at the young girl's age. "She lived Yakima, only forty-five minutes from here. She was killed in some forest by...Grey Creek I think." I shook my head. "I got good looks at the killers though." I closed my eyes trying to get as much detail about the killers as I could remember. "There were three of them, I got that now. They were all probably around thirty. The oldest, I'm guessing is maybe mid-thirties, had blonde hair, and a beard. The other two, I think were brothers. They looked like twins, the only difference was their eyes. One had blue, the other green. That's all I remember."

Sophie sighed loudly and collapsed into the chair behind her. "Great," she huffed. "Grey Creek is like an hour from Thorp."

"We need a motive, and a pattern." Zach spoke up for the first time.

I felt my eyebrows knit together. "What?"

"A motive—a reason to kill these girls. And we need a pattern with the victim choice." He explained. "Have you never watched crime shows or something? The first thing that they try to do is find a pattern, and then the motive."

I shook my head. "No Zach, I haven't been watching much crime shows lately. I've been a little busy living them!" I sighed and layed back. "But you're right, we need a pattern." I looked at Jessie. "Grab some paper and a pencil, we need to write down everything we know about Jamie and Olivia."

Jessie did as I asked her and sat down on the bed. "Okay, shoot out what you know." She readied the pencil and waited for me to talk.

I closed my eyes, "Well, let's start with the obvious. They were both girls, both under twenty." I thought harder, "Both had dark hair, both were taken from high populated cities, and they both were the oldest." I opened my eyes. "That's all I can think of right now."

"They both had fathers who weren't really in the picture." A voice from outside said.

It was a girl's voice, and my heart froze.

Paige.
