Prologue

Natasha, a young vampire with platinum blonde hair and ruby colored eyes was almost jumping from excitement. She was on her way to the Cullen's residence, with a freshly baked cake and a present for Edward. Today was their two year anniversary.

When she finally arrived she couldn't help but frown. She smelled an unknown scent of a human...he wouldn't, right? She shook her head, hoping that wasn't the case. She walked up to the door and knocked.

Natasha frowned, the scent of the human is stronger. She was about to knock again when the door finally opened, revealing Carlisle.

"Hello Carlisle, may I come In?" She asked, smiling softly. He looked surprised then hesitant. Why would he be hesitant, unless it has something to do with the human. Do they not believe she has control?

"I'm sorry Natasha, but Edward is not here." Carlisle said, hoping she would leave. Natasha looked at him with suspicion. I can smell his scent and hear him...Does he think I'm stupid? Natasha slightly glared at him, but she wasn't just going to barge into their home. That's just disrespectful.

"I know he is here, I can hear him." She states coldly, causing Carlisle to wince. He nods and hesitantly let's her in. She smiled and walked in but her heart dropped at what she saw.

Edward kissing an unknown human girl. Her eyes widened in shock, venom pooling in her eyes. Why? How could he do this? But it all makes sense now...She quickly wiped the venom from her eyes, staring coldly at the pair. She cleared her throat finally gaining the attention of the pair. Edward looks shocked and upset while the human looks equally shocked.

"N-Natasha!" What are you doing here?!" Edward asked, panicked she found out. She gave him an emotionless stare, he shuddered slightly from her gaze. She let out a small smirk, that caused the human to shudder in fear.

"Explain. Now." Natasha said, more angry than sad. She honestly couldn't believe he would do something like this. They were true mates, even Uncle Marcus confirmed it. She could already feel their bond breaking. She human looked at her and glared. She could see the anger and jealously in the human's eyes. Natasha just raised an eyebrow, daring her to say anything. Thankfully she was smart enough to keep her mouth shut.

"W-well  I-," He was interrupted by the human, "He doesn't have to explain anything to you! He's just spending time with his girlfriend, which is me! So get lost bitch!" Everyone held their breath in anticipation, worried what Natasha's reaction would be. She gave the human a death glare, a red aura surrounded her hands. Her eyes glowed brighter, her fangs became more apparent.

"You dare speak to me that way human!," Natasha yelled, her voice deeper. The Cullen's eyes widened, knowing they messed up. Everyone knew her anger rivaled her father's. Said human started shaking in fear, Edward growling while standing in front of Bella protectively. Natasha looked hurt, but it was soon replaced with anger.

"Why Edward? Why would you cheat on me? Knowing we are true mates?" Natasha asked, anger and hurt apparent in her voice. Edward rolls his eyes.

"Because I was just using you." Edward stated, causing Natasha to look at him feeling hurt and betrayed.

"What..?" She muttered.

"I was just using you, we all were. Since I was your mate the Volturi finally left us alone and we were protected. When we broke the laws they didn't even punish us." Edward said, ignoring the look of betrayal and sadness from Natasha.
