Chapter Two | And He is Back...

Incheon Airport...

"Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your Captain speaking...on behalf of Korean Air and the entire crew, we'd like to thank you for joining us on this trip and we are looking forward to seeing you on board again in the near future. Have a nice day!"

He heaved a sigh of relief as the voice from the intercom announced that the plane had landed in Korea. He sat silently, waiting for the people to lessen who were all rushing to descend from the plane. A couple of minutes later, he stood up and gathered his suitcase from the compartment. He walked the aisle until he reached for the door of the plane. The attendant smiled and bowed at him. "Thank you for flying with us, sir." He returned the bow and slowly descended in the stairs.

A few minutes later, he is walking in the terminal building, dragging his suitcase. He went out of the terminal and sat in one of the benches. He had texted someone a few minutes ago informing him that he has arrived. He sat there contemplating of the things that might happen. He felt nervous and anxious.

Ten years.

Everything raced back in his thoughts. How were they? Did Taehyung took care of their son well? Jaehyun must be taller now. 

He heaved a sigh. It was a sunny afternoon and people are lazing around, either waiting for someone or just whiling about their time.  While waiting for that someone to pick him up, he scrolled on his phone for the latest news. Then, he checked the messages on his Instagram, coming from his brother in Australia, asking if he had arrived. He replied to his brother and placed his phone on his carry on bag. He sat back and looked around. Things has changed in the airport since he left. Ten years ago, he was dragging his suitcase escaping the miserable married life, as he calls it. There came a time that he wanted to go back, he was having second thoughts of leaving his son, the only one who holds him in check. Yet, he went on.

He flew to Australia and lived with his older brother Jimin, who owns a restaurant  and his husband Namjoon, a composer for a record company in Australia. Jin  continued his study in Hospitality Management course and worked as a waiter in the restaurant just to finance his studies. His hyung helped a lot but it was all to him. He wanted to become independent, going through all the hardships just to finish his study.

His brother at first refused to let him live with them before he arrived in Australia. Jimin scolded him for leaving Taehyung and his barely 3 month old infant. He even told him to just bear with the situation. But Jin was adamant and have reasoned out that Taehyung is the cause of his misery. Due to what Taehyung did to him, he was out of school and had to take care of their child.

Selfish one may think but Jin knew that with early marriage and a child, all his dreams will be pushed aside. He had to do what he did, otherwise, he would never achieved anything. For him Taehyung killed every dream he had when that unfateful night happened. Due to drunkenness, Taehyung "raped" him when Jin was invited to a party organized by one of their friends. The day after when everything is clear, Jin lashed out at Taehyung angrily pointing out what he did.  Taehyung promised to take responsibility.  He was so in love with Jin. "Obsessed" perhaps. 

A month after, Jin was showing signs of being pregnant so he went to the doctor for a checkup. Upon knowing that Jin was pregnant,  Taehyung was elated nonetheless. He was  happy that he will be with his Jin and even offered to marry him. Jin wanted to reject the  offer, but Taehyung was persistent, promising Jin that he will do his best to be the best husband and to help him pursue his studies. Jin does not want it to be brought out in the public, much more to his parent's knowledge. His parents has a high expectations for him along with his hyung Jimin, who eventhough the parents indirectly point out, is the favorite between the two because of his achievements. The only person he has divulged this secret is with his brother, Jimin. Jin sent his brother an email, narrating his predicament. He even told his hyung that he does not like to get married and would like to abort the baby. He is persistent to finish his studies. But then, Jimin, advised him to go on and marry Taehyung and ensure that when the kid grows a little bit, Jin will continue University.
