The cool night air blew into his face. He walked lazily as he felt tiredness creep in because of the day's work.  Although Mr. Yun, Taehyung's driver informed him that he will drive him home, as per the CEO's instruction, Jin decided to take the bus on the way home.  The meeting took until six in the evening and Jin and his staff did their best to prepare food and serve them to Taehyung's guests.  He had to oversee all of the activities as he doesn't want to embarrass his husband infront of his guests.  From what he understood, the foreign guests are all seeking mergers with the Kims Hotel Corp since it is one of the best five-star hotels in the world and Mr. V was recently named as the Best World CEO.

After the meeting, Jin had to help clean up and while the hotel restaurant is open, Jin instructed Chef Lisa to take over cooking for the hotel guests. He even apologized to the woman for not pushing through with their plans of shopping as he was too tired and that he will make it up in the next time when he is free.  Lisa hugged him and said that it is okay and that she told him to go home and take a rest.  Jin is grateful that Lisa is such an understanding woman.  He pecked her on the cheek before he went to change and even said goodbye to his staff, thanking them for helping out in the meeting.

The day's event was hectic enough for Jin to handle.  He remembered Taehyung being too "touchy" everytime the CEO asked him for water, tea or anything that he needed from Jin.  Not to mention Jungkook's constant following him around during breaks and striking conversations about their happy memories as friends when they were both students in Australia. This didn't went unnoticed by Taehyung who kept giving Jungkook dagger looks.  If looks could kill, perhaps Jungkook is buried deep down right at that moment. Jin just sighed and shook his head with a smile at the thought.   Jungkook hasn't changed a bit, Jin thought. He's still the sweet bunny friend he had who is clingy and follows him around like a lost puppy.  Both knew of each other's sexual preferences.  Jungkook is a bisexual, having attracted both men and women into relationships.  He also remembered when Jungkook confessed to him that he liked him when he was in his second year college and Jungkook is in his third year.  But Jin turned him down explaining that he is not into relationships and that he admitted that he "was" married and had a child.  Though Jungkook felt sad, he did not falter in his being friends with Jin.  They are like soulmates during college.  They bicker, they hang out and they study together  just like real bestfriends do.

Jin reached the bus station in no time and sat in the waiting shed.  He was waiting for the last bus.  He leaned on the post to rest his head and closed his eyes.  It's a good thing that he ate his dinner with the staff at the hotel kitchen before going home. He decided to just sleep the night away as soon as he got home.  He also mentally made plans for his meeting with Jaehyun the next weekend for their first ever father-son bonding.  (A/n: Well, I cannot consider that father-son bonding the first time Jin and Jaehyun met in the restaurant, right?)

Because he is too engrossed in his thoughts, Jin did not noticed the car silently pulling over and stopped right in the bus waiting shed.  Someone pulled the windows down and called out his name.  Jin opened his eyes only to see Taehyung ducking his head from the driver seat  looking at him with dark eyes.

"Jin,  what the heck are you doing waiting here?  Didn't I asked Mr. Yun to bring you home?"

"Taehyung? Uhm..." Jin stuttered. "I'm waiting for the bus to take me home."

"Get in, Seokjin.  I'll bring you home." Taehyung said.

"Oh no,  I don't want to burden you- I, --"

"I said GET.IN." Taehyung said sternly.

Jin stood up and walked to the car.  Taehyung opened the door from the passenger seat  Jin slid in the car and closed the door.  The car eased out from the bus station and mixed with the other vehicles in the highway.

Jin was silent and did not know what to do.  Riding the car with his ex-husband made his stomach flip with nervousness.  He was shaking.  He looked out of the window to distract himself.

Taehyung was observing him from the corner of his eye. To ease the tension, he opened his playlist and played a jazz music by Louis Armstrong.

Give me a kiss to build a dream on...  The song began.

And my imagination will thrive upon that kiss
Sweetheart, I ask no more than this
A kiss to build a dream on...

"Your kind of music hasn't change all these years, Tae..." Jin said, leaning his head on the window.

Taehyung smiled.  "Jazz music relaxes me, Jin." Taehyung tapped on the steering wheel while singing along softly.

"You did well today, Tae. Your meeting was a success." Jin smiled after a moment of silence.

"You did well too, Jin.  Thank you for preparing the food.  My guests were ecstatic."

"I only did what I could to meet your expectations, Tae."

"I'm sorry --"  Taehyung said softly.

"What for?" Jin looked at him confused.

"It's your day-off and I ruined your plans." Taehyung's eyes is on the road.

"It's alright, Tae. I'm happy I was able to help today." Jin fidget the hem of his shirt to ease the nervousness he is feeling.

"Where were you supposed to go today?"

"I was planning to shop for a couch for my apartment.  The one I have is too hard for my back."

"You can take a day-off tomorrow.  I will just call on a chef in one of the hotels.  One of them can fill you in."

"Oh, no, Tae.  I can't do that.  What will my staff say?"

"It's an order, Jin. Take a day-off tomorrow and rest." Taehyung said with finality.

Jin sighed and just look out of the window.

Years ago, when Jin and Tae are still together, Jin would normally argue with Taehyung if his husband would insist on something.

But today is different.  He has no energy to counter his husband.  Or he was just tired.

"You promised that I can spend time with Jaehyun."  Taehyung hummed in response.

"We can talk about what you expect me to do while spending time with him, Tae.  This will be my first time to be with our son and I don't want to ruin things that he is used to do while outside."

Taehyung kept silent.  Soon, the car stopped infront of the apartment building.

"We're here, Jin."  Jin looked out and glanced at the facade of the building.

"Well, thank you for the ride, Tae." Jin was about to alight when Taehyung held his arm.

"Aren't you going to invite me in? We can have a cup of coffee and talk." Taehyung stared at his husband.

"Aren't you tired, Tae? You had a long day." Deep inside, Jin wanted his husband to stay even for longer hours.  Or forever.

"I won't miss this opportunity of being with you, Jin.  Consider this as a time to catch up for the lost time."  Taehyung brushed a finger in his cheek.

Jin smiled. "Then, come inside and let's talk over tea and coffee."  Jin opened the door and went out.  Taehyung chuckled. Jin knew his hate for coffee. Jin alighted from the passenger seat and waited for Taehyung park the car at a few distance and lock it.  Taehyung reached over to Jin, intertwining his hand with Jin's as they went inside the building.

If you noticed the chapter is has more dialogues than narration.   I couldn't describe each emotions of the two characters as I am poor at it.  This is just temporary and will edit the story from time to time.

I know I have missed a lot of scenes here specially Taehyung questioning Jin about Jungkook and ranting due to his jealousy.  But maybe in the next chapter and will be part of a flashbacks.
