One year later London, England
"What time are you coming home today?" Daria's voice echoed through the old apartment with it's high ceilings.
"I'm on shift today until 2 p.m., after that I'll come straight home get changed and then we can meet in town as arranged."
Bucky more or less stumbled down the long hallway as he tried to put on his black leather boots while he went from the bedroom to the kitchen to say goodbye to Daria as he did every day.
"Someday you'll break your leg and then I can nurse you back to health." Said Daria as she tapped him on the nose with her index finger when he arrived at her side and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"Isn't that what we swore to do? In good times and in bad times? In sickness and in health? So I don't think you get to complain about it then, do you?"
"How could I ever complain in my life about having a man like you as my husband?"
At her words, Bucky could feel the blood vessels in his cheeks dilating, turning them a dark rosy hue.
"I love you."
"And I love you."
Daria wrapped her arms around his neck and they both melted into a passionate kiss filled with love before Bucky had to pull away from her to avoid being late for his own class.
Since Daria still had some time until she would meet Ramona, Natalia and Katharina for shopping, she decided to take a long bath.
Her back had been bothering her for some time, which was due to the new mattress of her bed and her twisted sleeping positions.
As she soaked in the hot water and rose-scented foam, she reviewed the past year.
After their trip to Wakanda together, Bucky and Daria had returned to Russia only briefly before deciding to travel the world together.
Now, a year later, after they had traveled to all their dream destinations and said 'yes' to each other in Italy, they decided to leave Russia, the fighting and all that went with it, behind.
Natalia was now the new head of the Widows and ran the whole business in Russia, while Bucky and Daria rented an apartment in London and just enjoyed their lives there.
For the fact that both felt as normal as possible and they would not stick 24 hours a day on each other, the two had independently sought a small side job.
Daria worked for three days a week, afternoons in a small flower store around the corner and Bucky led a self-defense course for women in the city.
They had already settled into their small but nice apartment and given it a personal touch.
