✾━━━━━━━━✾━━━━━━━━✾Surrounded by the chirping of birds, the crisp air of Wakanda, and the warmth of the morning sun, Bucky and Daria awoke tightly embraced on the balcony.
They had fallen asleep together in the fresh air the night before, after Bucky had explained the night sky to her.
Once again they cuddled very close to each other, meanwhile both continued to keep their eyes closed to feel each other's bodies and skin.
"Good morning Precious." Said Bucky in his raspy sleepy voice as he pressed a kiss on the crown of her head before sliding away from her slightly to look into her eyes.
"Good morning. Don't stare at me like that in the morning."
"Why? Can't I look at you?"
"No. Not when I've just woken up and I look more like a scarecrow than a human being."
"Bullshit." He took her hands, which she held in front of her face, in his and pulled them to his chest.
His blue eyes reflected the morning sun and they reminded Daria of a sunrise on the beach.
How the sun's rays reflected in the water and the gentle waves created a pattern that an artist could never have created with a paintbrush.
"First of all, I've seen you in far worse conditions, and secondly, even if you had circles under your eyes that hung down to the ground, your eye shadow and lipstick spread all over your face, and you were wearing a potato bag, you would still be the most beautiful creature I've ever seen. So, please, let me look at you, with all your rough edges and let me admire you and enjoy the morning while I wonder what I have done to deserve waking up next to you."
"I... uhm... thank you."
She noticed the blood vessels in her face dilating, turning her skin a deep red.
Always even the smallest compliments had thrown her off but this, this what Bucky had said, was the most beautiful and at the same time the most frightening compliment anyone had ever given her.
Frightening because she had not thought that it was possible, in such a short time, to develop such feelings, which she carried inside, for another person.
Even though they had known each other for only a few months and the start of their acquaintance could have had more beautiful aspects than a kidnapping, it felt to Daria as if she had known this fierce super soldier all her life.
The trust she had in him and which he also gave her was so overwhelming that Daria would not even know how to put it into words.
The connection they had with each other was a connection you only experience once in your life.
A connection of two souls on such a deep level that no one could explain this unique feeling, even if they wanted to.
It was, just like this place, Wakanda - magical.
