Chapter 2 : Reunited

You stand up and turn around to look at her. She waves.

Y/n- "What are you doing here?" You asked, still in an angry tone.

Dahali- "Just came to wish you a happy birthday." She smirks.

Y/n- "I thought you moved to S/n (state name)." You said still angry at her from a few years ago.

Dahali- "You don't sound very happy to see me." She says sort of sarcastically. You look at her in disbelief.

Y/n- "You got me EXPELLED!!"

Dahali- "That was such a long time ago, maybe it's time you forgive and forget?" She shrugs. You just stare at her. She looks around awkwardly.

Dahali- "Oh! I almost forgot." She reaches into her pocket. "I got you something." You stare as she pulls out a silver necklace. She hands it to you. You examine it.

Y/n- "What happened to the stone?" The necklace was sort of like an amulet except the 'amulet' or 'stone' was missing.

Dahali- "I dunno, I found it like that." You both look at it, after a few seconds you look up to face her.

Y/n- "Found? Where did you find it?" You ask confused. She shrugs.

Dahali- "Around here somewhere close to the river." After she said that your mind went to the sapphire colored stone.

Y/n- In mind : Could that be the missing stone? I have to try and see if it fits.

Y/n- "Thank you. You should go back to the house. I'll meet you there in a second I just want to stay here for a few more minutes. You say hoping she will go away. She shrugs.

Dahali- "Alright." You watch as she walks away and towards the house.

Y/n- "Okay, time to find that stone." You whispered.
