Chapter 4 : Not really sure what to name this part but I hope you like it.

You slow down as you reach your house thinking 'Should I tell anyone?' It might be best if I don't say anything. But Dahali will ask questions when she sees the stone. What if it starts glowing again? You sigh and walk inside.

Y/n- "Hello Mr. Gonzales, Mrs. Gonzales." You wave at them with a somewhat fake smile (You're still wondering what happened a few moments ago).

Mrs. Gonzales- "Hello Y/n. It's so good to see you again, happy birthday!" She comes over to give you a hug. You hug back.

Y/n- "Thank you, it's good to see you too." Mr. Gonzales comes over and hands you a box of chocolates.

Mr. Gonzales- "Here, I know it's not a lot but we didn't really have time to get a present." You take the box and smile a genuine smile.

Y/n- "It's ok, thank you for coming.

"I didn't really have anything planned for the day and besides these are my favorite chocolates." You smile bigger when you realize they remembered your birthday after all these years.

Dad- "Ok well let's have lunch. I ordered a pizza." We all go into the dining area to eat and talk after I showed Dahali my room and then it was time for the Gonzales family to leave. We say our good byes. After I close the door my smile fades instantly and I no longer have a happy expression on my face.

Dad- "What's wrong sweetheart?" He asks in a concerned voice and comes over to give me a hug. I choose not to tell him.

Y/n- "Nothing, I'm fine, just tired." You say trying to sound as believable as possible.

Dad- "Okay, well then you better go off to bed."

Y/n-"Yeah, good night dad." You head upstairs before waiting to hear what he says next. You sigh.

Y/n- In mind : What am I going to do? You take the necklace off and stare at it, it starts to glow again.

Dad-"What's that?" Startled you jump and hide the necklace behind your back. You both stare at each other.
