2 man, they're tenants, moved in the Cuthberts' house. I don't know why, I had a bad feeling about them, just like Jerry. We often hung out, I went to the barn and talked with him there, and Anne teached him the alphabet.
What happened in december between Billy and Finn, I don't know, but Billy doesn't dare to look at me. Once in school Josie decided we should play spin the bottle. When it was Diana's turn, it landed on Moody and they actually kissed. Next was Anne, Billy and some others said they're out, and called Anne names. It landed on Cole, he was our friend, and Anne kissed him on the cheek. It was my turn now, if there would be anyone I would kiss, that would be Ruby, Anne, Diana or Gilbert. Because they're the only people I would dare to kiss, not romantically, but Gilbert was already working on a steamboat. They're my closest friends, and Jerry.. doesn't go to school.
The bottle landed on Ruby. Luck.
She was staring at me like everyone else, I didn't know if I should kiss her. It's wrong.

"Um.. Spin again." Josie narrowed her eyebrows, but I stood up.

"If Ruby doesn't mind, I will kiss her. I don't really care." I saw Diana whispering me "sit down", Ruby was just blushing a lot, then I rolled my eyes and sat back down, and I spinned the bottle again. It almost landed on Billy, but instead it pointed at Charlie. (Also sorry, I forgot who was sitting next to him) I stood up at the same time as him, we were both hesitating, then he gave me a kiss on the lips, and we quickly sat back down.
After playing, the girls ran up to me, throwing questions at me.
"Would you really kiss me?" Ruby looked up at me, I'm a few centimeters taller than her.
"Well do you want my kiss?" I asked, smirking and raising an eyebrow. This is so wrong! Why am I saying these to a girl? I don't even like her, I love Jerry.
I saw the girl blush, stuttering.
"I.. I.." she didn't know what to say.
"Adel! You know this is.. supernatural! It's wrong, and against the government's rules." Diana spoke up.

"Calm down. It's just a game, I didn't mean it seriously." I giggled awkwardly, knowing Diana was right. I just brushed it off, and moved on, avoiding Ruby.

I was walking with Diana and Anne, I told my mom if I would come home late, I will be probably at Anne's.
When we said bye to Diana, Anne brought up the spin the bottle thing again.
"Oh, not you too, Anne. I don't want to talk about it."

"No! It's not what you think, I wanted to say even if it's supernatural or against the rules, I accept you! Be yourself, that's what matters." she smiled at me.

"Anne." I rolled my eyes and smiled back at her, as she was opening the fence "You know..I like someone."

"Really?!" she got excited "Who??"

"It's.. kinda obvious.. And it should be obvious for you!" I giggled.
We walked in the barn, "Jerry!" Anne shouted his name.

"Yeah?" he looked up "Oh, hi Adelina" he smiled.

"Adel likes someone.." she went silent for a second.

"Oh.." and I saw Jerry got upset.

"What is it?" I looked at Anne.

"I know who you like." she smirked. She glanced at Jerry, then back at me. She knew.

"Don't be upset, Jerry. She likes you." I blushed and I gave Anne a serious look, I didn't want her to say it. I glanced at Jerry, who was blushing a lot. Oh god..
I felt I was blushing too, and Jerry asked me, "Is it true?"
And I slowly nodded.
He grinned.
"I feel the same way, ma belle."

"This is so romantic! I knew Jerry liked you for a long time, he would always ask how are you, where are you, he wouldn't shut his mouth!" Anne said, she was really excited and happy.

"That's sweet." I smiled.
I felt happy and sad, I wanted to tell Jerry that I love him, but I'm glad he loves me back.
"I need to go home." I said and before I could leave, Anne stopped me.
"Please hug eachother!" she begged, giving me the puppy eyes. I sighed, and slowly walked to Jerry. He got a bit taller, but just a tiny bit. He was smiling at me, after seeing how red I was, he smirked. I was hesitating, then I hugged him. His arms slowly wrapped around my back, pulling me closer, his head on mine, my head on his shoulder.
"Can I walk you home?" he asked.

"THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE! YOU'RE SO LUCKY, ADEL!" Anne was clapping in excitement.

"Maybe another time." I mumbled

"Well, okay." he put his hands on my waist, gently pushing me away, so he could look at me. "Au revoir, ma belle." then he kissed my cheek. I was shocked for a moment, I was a tomato for now. Anne was just standing there, staring and all happy, but I told her to not tell anyone. She nodded, and I walked home.

I ran upstairs to the room, slamming my room's door, jumping on my bed.
"Are you okay, Adel??" I heard my brother knock on the door.

"Yeah!" I shouted, then he opened the door.
I couldn't stop smiling, he looked at me confused.
"What happened?"

"Um.. Jerry.. I told him... Well actually, Anne did, but amyways.. I like him, and he likes me too and.. We hugged and he kissed me here." I pointed at my cheek, I was grinning and blushing, then my brother smiled.

"I knew you loved him. I always knew! Finally! But if he touches you like Billy.."

"No, he won't." I cut him off "He's the kindest boy I know! Well Gilbert, Charlie and Moody are also kind, but Jerry is the best."

"I'm happy for you." he smiled.

"But.. Josie told us we could play spin the bottle, and when it was my turn, it landed on Ruby. I didn't care much if she wanted to kiss me, but everyone thought im weird. I know its wrong, but I was only joking."

"Oh, god. If I would've been there, I would've protected you." he hugged me and smiled.

"Danke, (thank you) Finn." I laid back on my bed, smiling at him.

"Also, good news. I'm going to school with you next year." he smiled.

"Really?" I sat up, grinning at him

"Yes! I convinced mom about it, and she agreed!"

"That's amazing!" we hugged.
I'm already excited, like him.
