Adel

"You little girl shouldn't have done that." he hissed and threw me on the ground, then kneeled down in front of me. "Try something like that again, and... It won't end up nicely. Do you understand?" he stared into my soul and I harshly nodded. "Good." and with that, he stood up and walked away, to god-knows-where, leaving me there, alone. But one thing he did before he left, was to lock the barn's door.

Finn

"Wait, everyone, stop." I said and stopped my horse, and Anne stopped theirs. "What is it?" she asked. "Even if we find Nate, we aren't armed. How would we get her back if she's actually with him?" silence filled the air. Then I got an idea. "Wait. You two, stay here or follow the tracks, Jerry, would you mind if I'd take you home for a while?" he shook his head no, with a confused face. "Take him home? Are you gonna tell your parents?" Anne asked. "I lost my sister, they lost their daughter, of course, but.. I'll bring something to frighten that man." I spoke and they all nodded, and we made out way to my house.

Jerry and I both jumped off the horse, and hurried inside of the house, ignoring the fact that both my parents were sitting in the kitchen and they saw him. "Hey so-- What is he doing here?" my father asked as he stood up, glaring at us. "Dad, there's no time for this, Adel- she- she got taken away by Nate, something bad happened to her, we can't find her! Or well, we followed horse tracks, but I came home with him to get... something. He's helping me find Adel!" I said, and his eyes widened, and so did my mom's as she spun around. "She got what?" she asked and walked up to me. "Someone took her. Jerry has a suspect on who it was, and we're so close." I sighed and my mom teared up, placing her hand on her face. God, I hated seeing my mother cry, it hurts for me too. "Oh, my god.." she  wiped her eyes and turned to her husband. "Go and help them already!" she ordered, father hesitated for a while before nodding ,and he went upstairs. I knew well what he was going to bring back down, I wanted to go for it too.
The rifle.

Anne

Gilbert and I were alone, following the tracks in silence. "Do you think we are going to find her?" I broke the silence, asking worriedly. "I really hope so. We have to." he sighed, "I hope Jerry and Finn will be back soon." he spoke. "Yeah, me too.." I replied while staring at the ground, leading my horse forward.
Then I noticed something. "Gilbert, look, is that a...barn?" I pointed in the distance, he leaned in a bit and put his head on my shoulder, squinting his eyes, before they widened. I blushed when I felt his warm breath tickling me, but I shook it off. Ruby likes him!
"Yes. Should we check that?" he snapped me back to reality from my thoughts and I nodded.
The horse now ran, and in a few minutes, we noticed we were there. I jumped off, telling Gilbert to stay, and walked to the front. No one was here, but the doors were locked. Well, locked, the handles had a pipe in them so they couldn't be opened from the inside. I took it out and pushed the door open, nothing.

Or at least that's what I thought.
I walked deeper inside, exploring the unfamiliar place, then noticed a sleeping girl at the back, her hands and ankles tied. I recognized her! That's Adel! I ran up to her and kneeled down, shaking her shoulders gently, calling her name, then she slowly opened her eyes. They widened. "Am I dreaming?" she chuckled and I did too before hugging her. "Who took you?" I asked worriedly. "Nate... he's back. I don't know where he is right now, but be careful." she said. I stood her up, telling her to wait here, then I ran outside to look for Gilbert. "Gilbert! She's here, but we need a little help!" I spoke and his eyes widened as he jumped off the horse. "Of course." with that, we ran back inside. When he saw her, he threw his arms around her and hugged her tightly, mumbling something in her ear. "Could you pick her up? She can't walk with ropes around his ankles." I said and he nodded, putting one arm under her knees, one holding her back, and he lifted her up.

We hurried outside, but unfortunately he returned. He yelled after us; "Where are you kids taking my victim?" I spun around, to see he was running after us. "Oh no!" I whispered and got on the horse, helping Adel up, then Gilbert got on the horse, with one arm holding Adelina, with the other, holding me. "Hurry!" he shouted and the horse started running, quickly loosing Nate.
We got out of here, back to where we were on the road, and in that time, Jerry, Finn and his father arrived. "Ma belle!" Jerry shouted and jumped off the horse, along with the other two. "You kids stay here. Where is that man?" the man asked and we pointed inside of the forest. He held a gun in his arms, he nodded and walked in.

Adel

Gilbert and Anne helped me off the horse, and Jerry came to hug me tightly. "I'm so glad you're okay." he whispered and I smiled and put my head on his shoulder. Then he let go, next my brother stood in front of me, smiling softly and he hugged me aswell. "Mind taking off the ropes please?" I chuckled and he untied my ankles first, then the hands. "You could've used a knife." I said. "I was afraid, I might would've cut you." he shrugged and sighed.
"So, would you care to tell us what exactly happened?" Gilbert put a hand on my shoulder, looking deep in my eyes. I sighed and nodded.
