We got some bad news yesterday after Jerry went back to work. Gilbert's friend, Mary passed away– now poor Bash has to take care of the kid alone.

My parents support him, a lot of our friends and parents do, and visit him quite often, which he's thankful for, but Gilbert knows everything and how much pain Sebastian is actually in. I can't imagine losing someone close to me.

I can't imagine losing Jerry.

I've admitted; I am in love with Jerry Baynard, our friends are happy for us, even Finn is happy for us– although he had a little talk with him after I told him the news and that we are official.

Finn

After Adelina told me she and Jerry are official, I didn't know how I felt in the moment. Happy for her, of course, if she's happy, then I’m happy. Still, she's my sister and it's my duty to protect her. I would've preferred to have her and our old friend, Karl from Germany dating, but this frenchie seems like an actually nice guy.

I dragged him away from Anne and Adelina and talked with him in the barn, and looked into his eyes as I spoke up, "Are you going to marry her?"

To which he nodded immediately. He sighed, "Of course, oui, i'll marry her. She's the love of my life." he confessed and I nodded.

"Good. Are you going to protect her at any and all costs?" I asked again, and grabbed the collar of his shirt to make sure he will say the truth, and he gulped as he glanced down at my hand, then back into my eyes. "Oui. She's worth everything and I love her. I truly do, Finn. I wouldn't leave her, she makes my day lighten with that adorable smile of hers." he spoke as he looked away and smiled, and I let go of his shirt and remained silent.

I put my hand on his shoulder and nodded with a small smile, then extended my right hand out, "Welcome to the family, frenchie." I said as his eyebrows raised in surprise, and he took my hand and smiled. "Thank you for letting me in the family, Allemand." he said as we shook hands.

I put my hand on his back and lead him back to the yard where the girls were, then Jerry whispered to me, "So, how's it going with you and Diana?" he asked as I felt the heat rushing to my cheeks at the thought of her. I just shrugged before answering quietly, "Good. Same way like between you and my sister." I said as Jerry nodded and chuckled.

Adelina

I saw Jerry and Finn coming back towards us, as Anne and I were sitting on the stairs, studying for the exams. Anne looked up to me from the book and smiled, "You know, Jerry loves you. Everytime I hang out with him and you aren't here, he asks about you all the time. How you are, why aren't you here, what you're doing and so on." she spoke softly and I turned my head in her direction as I smiled.

"That's really adorable." I sighed and paused for a moment as I turned my head back into Jerry's and Finn's direction, holding the book in my lap, "He's really special. Although I feel bad for being so rude to him in the beginning. I just.. I wish I could make it up for him." I mumbled under my nose and looked down.

I felt Anne's gentle and soft hand on my shoulder as her blue eyes gazed into mine in a comforting way, and she spoke with a faint smile crossing her face, "You can."
