Eros Pov-

I smile towards cleo as we swim around the reefs. I grab Cleo's hand and swim towards a dolphin. We grab on to the dolphins fin and start gliding through the water with it. Once we let go i grab on to Cleo's tail as we swim around looking at all the fish and coral.

We take one final look around the reef and make our way towards mako Island. When we finally enter we see Rikki and Bella already there relaxing.

Rikki looks towards us and smiles "what took you two so long?" Rikki asks us. We smile at each other than at Rikki "we took our time" Cleo says while taking her place near Rikki while i go swim towards Bella.

"The reef looked beautiful today" i say in a matter of fact tone. Rikki looks at me and says "Same as every other day to me" Bella then buds in "ah, that's where your wrong."

Rikki look at us not knowing what was going on. "What's different about today" she asks. Cleo then looks up smiling "Oh, It's valentine's day" Cleo says sounding really happy.

Rikki groans and says "ugh, I hate valentine's day" Cleo, Bella, and I all smile towards her. "Aw, I think it's sweet" Bella says, I nod in agreement. Rikki looks disgusted and says "It's a commercial bunch of junk, cheesy greeting cards, and those weird cupid's. I tell you, there's actually something creepy about flying baby's with bows and arrows."

We all chuckle as Rikki's explanation Bella then asks her "So you and Zane don't celebrate?" Rikki responds with "Absolutely not, are you kidding me? Valentine's day blows."

Cleo then tries to reason with her by saying "come on guys it's a special day. If you wanna make it work, you've got to make the effort." Rikki grins and starts to swim towards Cleo "Really? What are you and lewis doing, hm?"Rikki asks

"Something simple and elegant, Just him and me." Cleo tells us, But rikki is quick to the punch and says "He's taking on fishing, isn't he?" which sends Bella into a laughing fit as Cleo replies with "No. H- he's not taking me fishing."

Rikki then looks over to me "Your oddly quiet. What's up?" She asks me. I look over at her and the others "Nothing" They all continue looking towards me not believing me. "I'm serious there's nothing wrong" I say trying to to look them in the eyes.

I glance down at the water dabating on what to do next. Finally, I decided on what to do "uh, I- I have to go, see you guys later" I didn't give them a chance to say anything as I swam away.

I'm currently at the cafe just thinking. While I'm out of thought I see a shadow above me. I look up to see who it is. It's Will. He takes a seat in front of me "can I help you?" I ask him, not really in the mood to talk to anyone right now.

He looks at me with that stupid smirk "why are you sitting by yourself?" he asks while looking at me with those beautiful dumb blue eyes. I sigh and look back at him "because I wanna be alone" I tell him hoping he would get the hint.

He looks at me then smiles "you mind if I join you" he say as more of a statement than a question. I at him like he's grown three heads "you don't give up do you?" I ask him while chuckiling.

We're both laughing and smileing at each other when will goes to pull something out of his pocket. I look at him confused "I got you something." he says handing me a black box with a beautiful silver necklace with a light blue gem shaped like a heart. "It compliments your new ring perfectly."

I look at it and gasp at how utterly beautiful it was. I look at him then it and close the box. "I- I can't take this, It must have cost you a fortune" I tried to hand it back to him but he wouldn't grab it. He look at me and said "No It's for you, and if you try to give it back I'll take that as a major sign of disrespect."

He stands up and grabs the necklace out of the box. He come behind me and puts the necklace around my neck. He then wispers in my ear "happy Valentine's day" and after the he left.

A few seconds later Rikki and Bella enter the cafe. Rikki goes to talk to Zane while Bella come up to me. She looks at me trying to decide what to say, finally after what seems like an eternity "Are you okay? You seemed really mad earlier."

I look at her not really sure what to say "I'm fine." I say not really wanting to tell her what's wrong. She looks at me with a concerned expression "You can talk to me, you know that?" She says, But honestly she was starting to get on my nerves.

I look at her not really wanting to talk anymore "I know." I tell her hoping she would leave after that, but she doesn't. "Eros, talk to me" she tries to pry again. Now i really didn't want to talk.

I look away from her "I said i'm fine!" As i say that a bunch of the balloons around us pop. When i see that I stand up and begin to walk off, But Bella being Bella follows me.

I try to walk fast but she catches up and grabs my arm "What's your problem?" she asks me looking really concerned. I look at her trying to keep my calm "I told you I'm fine, just leave me alone!" I snap at her.

When i say that a bunch of people's drinks start to fall or explode. I talk this opportunity to run off. I run to the dock and jump in. I swim as fast as i ever have before trying to get as far away from everyone as i can.

I'm currently at the moon pool trying to clear my head. I turn around hearing someone swimming into the pool. Once they bring their head above the water i see it's Bella, Rikki, and Cleo. I Lightly put my head underwater getting rid of the tear stains.

"Hey guys, what's up?" I ask them. They all look at each other then at me. Cleo was the first to speak up "Bella told us what happened." Cleo says. I look at Bella then the others.

I close my eyes and sigh, "It was nothing." I say trying my hardest not to break down. Rikki then speaks up "There's something going on we can tell." Then Cleo Spoke up again "Just tell us, maybe we can help"

I looked at all of them as my eyes glossed over. I sighed trying to find the strength to tell them. "Okay um, Last year me and my family were sailing to this island for valentine's day to spend time together since we had all been busy prior to that day." 

I release a shaky breath before deciding to continue "So, as we were sailing my brother was running around the deck. We all told him to stop." I try my hardest to hold in the tears, but eventually i just let go.

"We told him not to, but he didn't listen. Eventually while no one was looking he fell in. It took us a moment to figure out what happened to him, and once we did i had to choose to keep my secret or saving my brother. In the end i chose my secret, and i blame myself for it everyday." By now i'm balling my eyes out.

They all swam closer too me trying to comfort me "And the worst part of it all is that my parents act like it never happened." They all hug me for a while, No one saying anything.

Eventually we all leave going home before it got too late. Once i get home i go straight to my room, take a shower and fall asleep.
