Chapter 2: Awakening

It was fast

A shadow quickly enveloped Izuku just after he entered a small tunnel

Izuku began to struggle, as the slime villain attempted to cover Izuku's mouth with his hand

I just need that body for a minute, if you do not struggle i promise it will be a painless death - said the villain

As Izuku began to slowly lose consciousness, a life surge began within him, he knew how to save himself

A sword warped to Izuku's hand, he immediatly cut the villain's right arm and ran a few steps

You bastard I'LL KILL YOU - Said the slime villain as he charged to Izuku

Izuku smiled, not like All might's smile that he practiced a thousand times, it was a smile of malice

The Slime villain hesitated upon seeing Izuku's face

Izuku quickly pointed a finger at the villain and said

Hadou 4: Byakurai

A lightning bolt is emited by Izuku's finger and hits the villain, he falls unconscious

The sword in Izuku's hand fades away

Izuku is in shock, he does not undestand what happened, he just knew what to do in a life and death situation, a sword just appeared in his hand, and he cut the villain without a second thought

How did this happened? am i going insane? - Said Izuku

At this moment Izuku began to remember small pieces of Aizen's memories, not enough to truly awaken to his previous life, but enough to survive a battle.

As Izuku tried to make sense of his memories, a huge man fell from the sky near him

Fear not, for i'm here... a little late it seens - said the man

Izuku was speechless, his idol, the number one hero, All Might was here right in front of him

A-A-A-All Might, it is a great honor, c-c-could you give...

An autograph? Sure - All might knew exactly what the boy would say and quickly signed the notebook the boy was holding

So what is your name young one? did you defeated that villain? - Said All Might 

I'm Izuku Midoriya - Said the boy avoid eye contact with All Might, and not giving a answer to the second question

All Might took the boys silence as an affirmative responde to the question

You must have a amazing quirk to defeat this villain at young age, but remember that using your quirk against people should only be done in self defense - said All Might

I-I-I am actually quirkless - Said Izuku, as he did not know exacly had he had done or even if that actually happened or if he was seeing things and going insane.

All Might looked a little shocked, he grabbed a bottle from a nearby trashcan and put the slime villain inside, and asked Midoriya if another hero had defeated the villain and forgot to arrest him.

All might face looked annoyed, for he was angry that a hero would not restrain a dangerous villain after defeating him.

Izuku felt a little offended by his idol asking that, immediatly going to the conclusion that a quirkless person could not had defeated the villain

Izuku wanted to ask All Might if he could become a hero being quirkless

Before he could say anything, All Might started to cough and quickly prepared to jump

I'm sorry boy, i must go now - Said All Might right before he jumped several dozen meters in the air

(That was close, i have only a few seconds left in this form, i better find...) - All Might thought is closed by a voice

Wait All Might, i must ask you something - Said Midoriya grapped on All Might's leg

All Might landed on the top of a building nearby

What are you doing? That was dangerous, you could have fallen - Screamed All Might, more annoyed than angry

I'm sorry sir, i just wanted to ask you a question, just one, please - Izuku said with a anxious voice

Izuku knew the answer already, he had already asked this question to other people, even some heroes he encountered before, but he needed to hear it anyway, from the number one hero, he hang into the last piece of hope he had, that All Might would say "Yes", insted of the obvious "No" he heard from every other person.

As he gathered breath to ask, the memories from his previous life began to emerge in his mind again, but Izuku ignored everything just enough to form the question in his mind, and then spoke:

Is it possible... to be a hero... despite... not having a quirk? - Said Izuku, pausing between a few words like he was struggling to breathe

All Might gave a stoic look at Midoriya, the question caught him off guard, he for a brief moment forgot he was about do lose his form, he considered saying yes, like the number one hero should, but All Might knew that would put the boy in danger, the danger of trying something impossible and getting hurt.

It is not possible to be a hero being quirkless, you should give up - Said All Might, as his body was slowly emitting a white smoke

All Might saw something he would never forget, the face of complete despair and lack of life of young Midoriya.

With his entire purpose of life erased by the person he respected the most, Midoriya stopped resisting the memories trying to flood his mind, like he was accepting death itself.
