Dave and Bambi: Frostbites for Gods

Chapter 3

"I can't believe it!" Snowbreaker chimed. "You both managed to make past the first course!" "Yeah, because we're tough. We don't back down, no matter WHAT." Bambi hissed. "...! (yeah!)" Hjoim 'replied'. "Oh! Fiesty behavior again?" Snowbreaker decided to just throw Hjoim and Bambi into the second course already. The second course was pretty spooky, there were small buzzsaws and green spikes. Bambi gulped at the sight. He could take on those rabbits, but THIS? Man, he doesn't think he's gonna survive a couple of days in here...

"...! (Hey, it's okay!)" Hjoim 'gave' Bambi a confidence boosting 'speech'. "!!! (We can do this, no matter WHAT happens!)" "...You're right. LET'S DO THIS!" Bambi shouted before him and Hjoim sprinted through the buzzsaws and spikes. Hjoim got cut a little on his rib, but he shook it off. Eventually, the two gods ran out of the second course panting. Bambi had not ran that fast in his entire life. Damn, he was out of breath! Same for Hjoim. "Wow. You two are such smart, brave and tough cookies." Snowbreaker told them. "Yes we are!" Bambi said. "And you know what? I don't care what you throw at us anymore! We'll be able to take it on, no matter HOW horrible and HOW gruesome it is!!" "...! (Yeah!)" Hjoim agreed with Bambi's small rant.

"No matter HOW gruesome and horrible...?" Snowbreaker thought for a moment. Bambi si strong, so is Hjoim. He needed to do something to make them weaker. Something that will make them all give up. Hmmmm... oh! What if he tricked Bambi into thinking Dave came back to him? Yeah! That would work! So Snowbreaker pushed a button that sended Bambi and Hjoim into a trap door. When they both got up, they both saw someone... Dave.

"...D-...Dave?!" Bambi yelped. "Yeah, Bambi. It's me." Dave replied. "I... I thought you... holy shi... what?!" Bambi couldn't understand in a peaceful manner on what was going on. Dave hugged Bambi as he cooed him. "Yeah, confusing, I know..." Dave said. "Say, can you do me a favor?"

"...Like what?" Bambi asked.

"Can you stay still?"

"...Stay still...? Why...?"

"Because, honestly... people like you taste AMAZING!!~"

"Wh-What?!?"

Dave tried to bite Bambi, but Bambi ran away, screaming. And that's when Bambi realized that Snowbreaker tricked him into thinking he came back to him... Hjoim easily defeated the fake Dave, but they knew what Bambi was going through. Bambi was crushed... but that won't stop him from trying to escape, knowing he'll be safe and sound in the end! "Man... I thought that would work.." Snowbreaker said, dissapointed.

Bandu finally woke up in Bambi's bed. It was 12:00 AM midnight and mostly everyone was asleep. Bandu groaned as he touched his head. It felt... bandaged. Scarfed up. He felt like he was suffering a hangover. At this time, he was too weak to say anything. He just layed in his bed as he stared at the ceiling, just trying to go back to sleep. But... in times like this, it's damn near impossible to go to bed. Suddenly, his door creaked, which made his heart stop. It was Bamibo, Jambi, Zetrus and Barbu! Wait, what? What were they doing here?

Barbu looked extremely upset, like someone he knew died. "..." Bandu couldn't say anything, because, again, he was too weak to talk. He just gave Barbu a simple wave. "H-Hey there..." Zetrus said, whispering. "Now, I'm only whispering because people are gonna hear us, we're gonna wake the whole house up, yatatatata... but... what I need to tell you, Bandu is... Brobgonal's dead. He's gone." Bandu gasped. "Yeah... he's dead." Zetrus said, sadly. Bandu eventually got the courage to speak again. "...H-...H-...How?!" He said. "Well... he passed away in Barbu's arms... Jambi informed me." Zetrus explained.

Barbu was trying his damn hardest to not cry. He knew Brobgonal for a long, LONG while now and... seeing him all dead was too much. Bamibo sat next to Bandu's bed as he fell asleep with him for the night. Not because he LOVES him, nonono. He just wanted to be there for him, right?
