Part 12

Scene starts at Lakshmi's house,
Lakshmi came back to her house at 5pm.
Manorama: Yeh le Lakshmi puttar......paani pee le.
Lakshmi drank the water.
Manorama: Aaj din kaisa tha office mein?
Lakshmi: Wahi batane waali thi main aapko maa......aap jaanti hain aap kya hua?
Manorama: Kya hua?
Lakshmi: Aaj humara ek naya boss aaya aur jaanti hain vo kaun nikla?
Manorama: Kaun? Rishi toh nahi?
Lakshmi(shocked): Aapko kaise pata?
Manorama: Matlab sach mein Rishi? Mujhe toh yakeen hi nahi ho raha hain.
Lakshmi: Maa jab maine usse pehli baar dekha tha tab mujhe bhi yakeen nahi ho raha tha. Aur ab toh main ek uljhan mein bhi fas gayi hoon.
Manorama: Kaisi uljhan? Main maddat karu?
Lakshmi: Haan aapse hi poochne waali thi main.
Manorama: Pooch kya poochna hain.
Lakshmi: Main issi uljhan main hoon ki Shreya ko Rishi se milwaun ya fir nahi. Mera dimaag toh kehta hain ki naa milwaun lekin pata nahi kyun mera dil kehta hain ki Rishi ko Shreya se milwaun. Aur agar ek baar maine Rishi ko Shreya se milwa diya toh vo usse reject nahi kar paaega. Aap kya kehti hain? Mujhe kya karna chahiye?
Manorama: Lakshmi.....hum na ek kaam karte hain.....yeh sab na destiny par chod dete hain.
Lakshmi: Destiny par? Kyun?
Manorama: Vo isliye kyunki destiny hi iss duniya mein sabko milwate hain. Tu fir kabhi Rishi se milna nahi chahti thi na? Dekh....aaj destiny ne tujhe uske saamne laa kar khara kar diya hain. Isiliye main keh rahi hoon ki sab destiny par chod de....agar destiny mein Shreya aur Rishi ka milna likha hain toh koi bhi cheez, koi bhi insaan unn dono ko ek dusre se durr nahi rakh sakta hain.
Lakshmi: Hmmm.....baat toh aapki sahi hain. Theek hain....toh main yahi karungi. Waise meri Shreya hain kaha?
Manorama: Vo Siya ke paas gayi hain....aaj hi unn logon ki flight hai na isiliye. Unko good bye karne gayi hain. Badi dukhi thi bechari.
Lakshmi: Main Shreya ka dukh samajhti hoon lekin main kuch nahi kar sakti hoon maa. Ek kaam karti hoon uske liye uski one of her favorites masala kachori bana deti hoon green chutney ke saath.
Manorama: Tujhe lagta hain isse uska mood accha hoga?
Lakshmi: I think so. Let's try.
Lakshmi and Manorama together prepared masala kachori for Pari with green chutney.

After 1 hour Shreya came back. She was very sad and was crying.
Shreya sat down on the sofa sobbing.
Lakshmi came to her.
Lakshmi: Baccha....mat ro na.
Shreya(crying): Kyun? Main kyun Shreya ke saath nahi reh sakti mumma?
Lakshmi: Baccha.....aap Siya ke saath nahi reh sakte lekin haan.......aap usse milne jaa sakte ho. Ok?
Shreya nodded in no crying.
Lakshmi sat down beside Shreya and made her sit on her lap.
Lakshmi wiped Shreya's tears. Lakshmi kissed Shreya. Shreya hugged Lakshmi 🤗 tightly. Shreya was crying. Lakshmi lets her cry for sometime.....then Shreya automatically stops.
Lakshmi: Ab aap rona band karo....aur yeh khao....aapki favorite kachori.
Shreya(cutely):Kachori?
Lakshmi: Haan....kachori.
Shreya ate some kachori and then kept some for later.
Shreya kissed Lakshmi's cheek after thanking her and then she left to her room.
Next Day,
Shreya came to school but she was not feeling good at all because Siya didn't came. Due to her sadness she completely forgot to tell Manorama that today was her half day in the school. After the release Shreya came out from the school. She didn't knew the way to her home. Shreya kept walking for atleast 1 hour and then she sat down on the road itself.
Shreya(cutely)(in her mind): Uff! Main itna sa chal kar kitni thak gayi. Ab yaha se ghar kaise jaaun? Mujhe toh ghar ka address bhi nahi pata hain. Kisi se help maangti hoon.
Shreya went to a shop to ask for help.
Shreya(cutely): Uncle......
The shopkeeper(rudely): Kya hain?
Shreya(cutely): Aapko pata hain kya ki main kaha rehti hoon?
The shopkeeper(rudely): Mujhe kaisa pata hoga ki tum kaha rehti ho?
Shreya(cutely): Mujhe laga ki aapko pata hoga. Lekin koi baat nahi......aap meri maddat karoge mera ghar dhoondne mein?
The shopkeeper(rudely): Mere paas wakt nahi hain.....tu jaa yaha se........
Shreya(cutely)(a little angry): Aap jab tak meri help nahi karoge main nahi jaaungi.
The shopkeeper: Accha? Ruk jaa tujhe toh main batata hoon.
Saying this the shopkeeper pushed Shreya. Due to the push Shreya fell down on the street infront of a car 🚗. The person who was driving the car immediately stopped the car. He came out. He was none other than Rishi.
Rishi picked Shreya up and made her sit on the car seat.
Rishi: Baccha....aap theek toh ho na?
Shreya cutely nodded in no.
Rishi: Aapko chot lagi hain?
Shreya nodded in yes and then she showed her elbow. It was bleeding. Shreya started sobbing 😢.
Rishi: Nahi nahi beta kuch nahi hua hain.....mat ro......main abhi aapka first aid kar deta hoon.
Rishi did Shreya's first aid with the help of the first aid kit present in his car.
Rishi: Ab dekhna...dard choo mantar ho jaaega.
Shreya: Mera dard toh choo mantar ho jaaega lekin uss bad uncle ko punish kaun karega? Unhe punishment toh milni hi chahiye.....unhone mujhe push kiya.
Rishi: Hmmm.....baat toh aapki sahi hain. Main promise karta hoon ki vo aapke saamne uthak baithak karenge as a punishment. Tab tak aap....yeh khao.
Rishi gave Shreya a chocolate 🍫😋.
Shreya: Thank you 😊 mujhe yeh dene ke liye lekin mumma ne mujhe strangers se kuch bhi lene ko mana kiya hain.
Rishi: Ooo....lekin hum strangers thodi na hain.....maine aapki help kar di so now we are friends.
Shreya thought a little 🤔
Shreya: Ok....friends. Ab aap apna promise poora karo.
Rishi: Hmm....aap yahi ruko....main abhi aaya.
Shreya peeled off the chocolate 🍫and started eating it meanwhile Rishi went to the shopkeeper.
Rishi tapped on the shopkeeper's shoulder.
Rishi: Oo bhaisahab......suniye zara.
The shopkeeper turned towards Rishi.
The shopkeeper(rudely): Kya hain?
Rishi: Aap ne uss bacchi ko dhakka kyun maara? Agar usse kuch ho jaata toh?
The shopkeeper(rudely): Usse kuch ho jata toh bhi mujhe koi farak nahi parta. Mujhe pareshaan kar rahi thi......kuch ho jaata toh mujhe usse koi matlab nahi hain. Aur tum kyun uski itni chinta kar rahe ho? Kya lagti hain vo tumhari? Najayaaz beti toh nahi?
Rishi got super angry hearing this and he slapped the shopkeeper hard.
In one slap the shopkeeper sat down at Rishi's feet.
The shopkeeper(joining his hands): Arrey maaf kar dijiye sahab....galati ho gayi.
Rishi: Hmm....ab chal...usse maafi maangne.
Rishi grabbed the shopkeeper's collar and asked him to do sit up and hold ears.
After 20 sit ups.....Shreya asked him to stop and forgave him.
The shopkeeper left.
Shreya: Thank you.....meri help karne ke liye.
Rishi: Your welcome....waise aap yaha kya kar rahe the beta akele?
Shreya narrated everything to Rishi.
Rishi: Oho......itni si baat? Chalo....main aapko ghar chod deta hoon. Aapko itna pata hain ki aap kaunsi jagah rehte ho?
Shreya nodded in no.
Rishi: Aapke paas aapki school diary hain? Waha par address likha hoga.
Shreya: Haan hain.....yeh lo.
Shreya gave him the diary.
Rishi found the address. He was about to close the diary when he saw a note 📝 written in the school diary. Lakshmi's name was also there.
Rishi(in mind): Mother's name Lakshmi Bajwa kyun likha hain? Kahi yeh Lakshmi ki.....nahi nahi....yeh koi aur hogi.
Rishi dropped Shreya home.
Shreya: Andar aao na.
Rishi: Nahi baccha...abhi mujhe office jaana hain.....
Shreya: Please thodi der ke liye.
Rishi: Ok....sirf 10 minutes ke liye.
Shreya: Yayy!!!
Rishi ringed the door 🚪bell 🔔. Manorama opened the door.
Rishi was shocked to see Manorama.
Rishi: Aap....yaha.......
Manorama: Tum?
Shreya: Nani......inhone meri bohot help ki....aaj jaanti hain aap...kya hua.....main batati hoon.
Shreya narrated everything.
Shreya: Tum yahi baitho friend....main meri mumma ki tasveer dikhati hoon tumhe.
Shreya ran to her room.
Manorama(in mind): Isko kuch yaad toh hoga nahi. Iske saath aise pesh aati hoon jaise ki main isse jaanti tak nahi....pehli baar mil rahi hoon.
Manorama: Baitho na beta......tumhara naam kya hain? Shreya ki itni help karne ke liye shukriya.
Rishi understood that why was Manorama acting. Rishi touched Manorama's feet.
Rishi: Mera naam Rishi Oberoi hain....main ek business man hoon.
Manorama: Ooo.
Rishi: Accha jii ab main chalta hoon.
Manorama: Chai toh pee kar jaao.
Rishi: Jii nahi shukriya. Main chalta hoon.
Rishi was about to leave when Shreya called him from behind.
Shreya: Friend.....yeh dekho meri mumma ki tasveer.
Shreya showed Rishi Lakshmi's photo 📷😍.

Rishi(in mind): Matlab ki Shreya meri....beti hain? Nahi nahi....ek aur baar conform ho leta hoon.
Rishi: Aapke papa kaha hain?
Shreya made a cute sad pout.
Shreya(cutely): Pata nahi.....maine nahi dekha unhe kabhi bhi. Mumma ne kaha tha ki vo mujhse milne aayenge....lekin aaj tak nahi aae.
Rishi understood that Shreya was his and Lakshmi's daughter.
He hugged 🤗Shreya. He was teary eyed.
Rishi(in mind): Main meri beti se yeh keh bhi nahi sakta hoon ki main hi uska papa hoon. Mujhe jaldi Lakshmi ko sab sach batana hoga......kyunki ab main meri bacchi se aur Lakshmi se durr nahi reh paaunga.
Rishi broke the hug.
Rishi: Aapke papa aapse zaroor milne aayenge. Ok?
Shreya smiled 😃.
Rishi: Ab main chalta hoon. Ok?
Shreya: Hmm.....lekin fir zaroor aana.
Rishi: Waada raha....main zaroor aaunga.
Rishi left hiding his tears.
Rishi(while driving his car 🚗): Main aaj tumhe saari sacchai bata doonga Lakshmi.
Just then his phone 📱 rang. He picked it up. He was talking with the help of Bluetooth speaker.
Rishi(on call): Hello.......
The person(on call): Hello Rishi......main kya soch raha tha ki tum bohot dino se roye nahi ho so ab ro lo.
Rishi understood who was on the call 📞.
Rishi(on call): Dekh mere dad ko kuch mat karna.
The person(on call): Arrey nahi nahi.....tere dad ko nahi....main teri biwi ki baat kar raha hoon. Vo aaj marne waali hain......teri office mein kaam karti hain na vo? Bacha sakta hain toh bacha le.
Saying this the person cuts the call.
Rishi(in mind): Shit!!!!!Isse pata kaise chala ki Lakshmi mere saath hain? Main isse chodunga nahi.....lekin usse pehle mujhe Lakshmi ko bachana hoga. I cannot let anything happen to her. I am coming Lakshmi.
Rishi increased his car's speed.
