"I think I kinda like Emry in a romantic way." What? That must mean she likes girls. I smile. This will be the perfect way to get revenge. Nobody will want a princess who likes girls. "No!" I didn't mean to yell. I sneak back into the Ruby Palace and start planning. Tomorrow father will present that fake as a princess of the imperial family. I can't let that happen. No way.
"Ría!" I call for that maid.
"Yes?" I know she doesn't like me but whatever.
"What would happen to a princess who doesn't like men?"
"What do you mean?"
"I heard that Ambrosia likes girls, isn't that a crime?" Her eyes go wide.

"Did you hear?"

"Maybe my daughter and her can get along."

"Princess, is what Lady Jennette said true?" I look up from my book. What did that thing say now?
"What do you mean?"
"Lady Jennette told everyone that you like me in a romantic way. Do you?" My face turns pale. I don't know what will happen to me now that Jennette said that.
"Yes." I flinch, waiting for a slap but nothing happened. Huh? I open my eyes and see her red face. Is she blushing?
"I like you in that way too, Princess." She smiles.
"Will you be my partner for my 2nd dance tomorrow?"
"Of course!" She's really happy. I am too.
