Amethyst and I were already awake and talking to each other when I thought of a great idea.

"Hey Amethyst?"

"Hmm, angel?"

"We should do something fun with the entire group today."

"That would be awesome."

"What should we do?"

"Swimming?"

"I am not able to."

"I could teach you. Plus, it will be warm today so some refreshing water would be nice."

"If it is you teaching me, I would love that."

The others were already downstairs, and we joined them.

"How about we go swimming today?"

Xafia, Felix and Shimoto all perked up.

"That would be so much fun!"

"Yes please, this heat is killing me already."

"And you lived in Tartarus, a place with fire everywhere, for how long?"

"Hey, no trouble in paradise, alright? Do we want to swim in the garden, or shall we walk to the waterfall?"

"The garden shall do just fine."

We all separated and went to our rooms to put on our bathing suits. After that we joined each other again outside and headed for the pond. Suddenly Shimoto flung Felix over his shoulder and ran towards the water. Felix's screaming stilled when they both hit the water and went under. Xafia, Amethyst and I stood on the side laughing, until Amethyst grabbed me and started carrying me to the water as well.

"No! Put me down, Amethyst! I can't swim!"

But it was already too late, Amethyst and I hit the water together and I thought I was about to drown. We resurface together again, and I am holding onto Amethyst for dear life.

"Don't you dare let go of me!"

"I wouldn't even want to let go of you, beautiful angel."

My cheeks heat up again at the sound of those words falling from Amethyst's lips. The moment was greatly disrupted by Xafia jumping into the water as well and splashing all over us. Felix and Shimoto were messing around with each other on one side of the pond and Xafia was swimming over there as well. Amethyst was teaching me how to swim and it was not too difficult after all. There are no lakes or ponds with water in Tartarus, so I never needed to be able to swim, but it is nice to know now so I don't accidently drown. Amethyst let go of me and moved further away. I got nervous and started sputtering around. She told me to try and swim over to her, so I did. I reached Amethyst and clamped onto her to catch my breath.

"I am really proud of you, angel."

I didn't reply, I just kissed her to show my gratitude. She kisses me back eagerly. Our moment was once again interrupted by the others splashing water over us.

"Ey lovebirds, how about you join us over here."

Amethyst and I just giggled, and I swam over to the others on my own. We all messed around with each other, and I swam some laps as well to practise more. Eventually it was time for dinner, and we got out of the water. The spirits were as high as they could be, and the rest of the evening was filled with much positivity and laughter until it was time to go to bed again. I plopped down in Amethyst bed, exhausted from all the swimming and she joined me as usual. Together we slept again, and I had only sweet dreams that carried me through the night.
