Ch-2 The Demonic Mara

No one's POV

Hornets team were all in the middle of the sea, getting into position for attack as two Sakura Empire Aircraft Carriers made their way over to them.

"Sakura Empire Carriers."

"They look really strong."

"Ah! I feel so faint! How could the superiors be so mean and bully me like this?! I didn't do anything, right Zuikaku ?" Shoukaku asked her sister.

"You really shouldn't take it so personally big sis. Besides, we have a big opportunity here. The first carrier elders will finally know our strength."

"I see. I admire the way you're always thinking ahead Zuikaku. You have my word that I will always be behind your back!"

Hearing this, Zuikaku gained a fire in her eyes and she unsheathed her blade. "And as long as you're with me, I have nothing to fear!"

While this was happening, Enterprise and Cleveland were going to help Hornet and the others as fast as possible. However, Enterprise was at her limit but she didn't stop. Her ship was cracking and she nearly fell if it wasn't for Cleveland.

"Enterprise! You need to slow down! Your too damaged to fight right now!" Cleveland tried her best to convince Enterprise to not push herself so much.

"I can't! Hornet's my sister!''

"I see. It's good to see that you have a human side after all. I too have a lot of sisters, so I know how you feel. I just wish we had some backup vessels to help us out."

"We'll help!" Cleveland turned back and saw both Javelin and Laffey were right behind them.

"I want to help too."

Seeing this, Cleveland smiled cheerfully and gave them a thumbs up. "Let's do this!"

Meanwhile, Hammann, Arizona and the other ships were down with the only exception being Hornet, who was dodging every bomb and explosive they threw at her.

"It's not fun being the only one on defence. Can I get some backup?!" She  cried out but then jumped back to dodge another bomb.

"I got you!" Zuikaku rushed at her, making Hornet widen her eyes.

"Damn!"

Just as she was about to be hit with a slah of the enemies sword, a bunch of planes shot at Zuikaku, forcing her to block.

Cleveland turned and saw Enterprise had arrived. "When did you get here?!"

"Go on!" She told her sister as she ran past her.

"Well okay. Thanks!"

"Grey Ghost. I knew you'd come!" Zuikaku rushed at her and they clashed with each other. "If it isn't the Eagle Unions strongest carrier! You are a worthy opponent!"

Enterprise pushed her back but Zuikakau regained her footing. She then pointed at Enterprise. "Let's duel.''

"Hey there Hornet! We're here to help you!" Cleveland waved for her.

This made Hornet smile in relief. "Thank god. I was starting to get nervous."

She stopped at Cleveland but nearly lost her balance but Cleveland caught her fall.

"This is our chance. Just give me a second to bring out my ship."

"FIRE!" A voice yelled out and multiple missiles were fired at the group, forcing them to dodge.

Prinz Eugen stood there proudly as she had brought along reinforcements along with her.

"You ladies seem to be having fun. Can we play~ ?" Prinz Eugen stated.
