Aliyah's POV
"What do you think?" Evan said to us noong nakita niya kami. What the hell is this all about? Tanong ko sa sarili ko.
"May alam ka ba dito Liam?" bulong ko kay Liam.
"Nope." Sabi niya sabay lingon kay Evan.
"Happy Birthday Ali." Sabi ni Evan sabay ngiti saakin.
"It isn't my birthday anymore." I told him. Bumaba naman siya ng stage and he snapped his fingers. Nagliwanag ang buong venue. I let my eyes scanned the room. He turned this place into something like the setting from the twilight movie noong prom nila. This could be perfect pero galit ako kay Evan.
"Damn Ali naman." Sabi niya.
"Isn't it your engagement party tonight?" I glared at Evan. Lumapit naman siya saakin and he reached for my hand. Tinapik ko ang kamay niya.
"Nope that was just a facade in order for you to come here."
"Facade? Are you kidding me?" di makapaniwalang tanong ko sa kanya.
"Yes Ali, A facade." Sabi ni Anika na nasa di kalayuan.
"Yeah right. Sino pa ang kasali?" tanong ko sa kanilang lahat.
"me." Nakita ko ang pinsan ni Emerson na lumapit kay Anika.
"Of course the best friends." I said loud enough for them to hear.
"Ali, Hindi mo ba nagustuhan?" tanong ni Evan saakin.
"What? Nagustuhan? HAHAHA are you serious?" sarcastic kong sabi.
"What do you think Evan?"
"Really Ali??Di ka marunong mag appreciate ng effort!" sigaw ni Anika saakin.
"How can I possibly appreciate this effort na sinaktan niyo ako!" sagot ko sa kanya. I can feel na nag-iinit na ang mata ko. Ali don't cry! Don't cry! I keep on chanting.
"Ali. Look I'm sorry. I thought this is the best plan para maging Masaya ka sa birthday mo." Sabi ni Evan.
"Ngayon ko pa nalaman na Masaya pala ang ganun na plano." Sabi ni Macy.
"Hindi mo ba yun nabasa sa stories Macy?" tanong ni Evan.
"Not all that you read on stories are true Evan." -Macy
"Ali naman." He begged.
"Blake." Narinig kong sabi ni Liam. Sa wakas ay nagsalita na din siya.
"Wag kang makisali dito Liam." Sabi ni Evan. Tiningnan ko naman si Liam at ngumiti sa kanya.
"You got five minutes to answer all these questions. Why where you in Singapore? Why you did not tell me? Why did you not come to my birthday? Why did you plan this surprise? You think I'm gonna like it?" sunud-sunod ko na tanong sa kanya.
"First of all, I was in Singapore because sinama ako ni Mom kasi nandoon si Dad. We are going to meet some of our investors. Hindi kita sinabihan kasi I thought madali lang kami doon and I was mad Ali kasi sa sinabi ni Liam sayo. I was there when he said he likes you. I did come to your birthday you can even ask your friends. I planned this because I know you like surprises and I read this article on the internet, it is worth the pain din naman Ali." Tumingin ako sa mga friends ko with a questioning look.
"Yes he went there Ali pero it was past midnight around 1am." Sabi ni Brylle.
"Nagmamadali siya and we told him na nasa hospital ka kasi na aksidente si Liam." Sabi naman ni Macy.
