Chapter 5: Impakta and Girlalush

Aliyah’s POV

“Welcome Back Miss.” He’s smiling at me.

“What the hell are you doing here?” I arched an eyebrow at him.

“Is that the right way to greet a person?”

I rolled my eyes and answered.

“Is that the right way to speak to a person?? Disturbing her while she’s reading a book?? ” Tanong ko din sa kanya. He chuckled.

“Okay! I’m sorry Ali. Gusto lang kitang asarin eh. Napaka serious mo kasing nagbabasa.” He said, smiling at me. Tss! The nerve of this guy! Instead of talking to him, I opened my book and started reading again.

“Ali naman nagalit kana saakin kasi na disturb kita sa pagbabasa mo?” I looked at him, scrutinizing his face. 

“Don’t look at me like that Ali!” he pouted then sat beside me.

“Just shut up Emerson! You are disturbing me; Nasa climax na ako ng story when you came.” I said looking at him.

“Aww. Sorry naman. Actually, napadaan lang ako at noong nakita kita agad akong lumapit para kausapin ka.” Sabi niya habang nakayuko. Nakakainis talaga tong lalaking to! Kung hindi lang kita crush! Matagal kana sigurong wala sa school na to. HAHAHA.

“Okay okay! Apology accepted.Nakakainis ka talaga! I hate you.” I said sabay hampas sa braso niya.

“Aray! Ang brutal mo talaga Ali.” He said jokingly.

 “Whatever.”  I pouted. Tumawa naman siya ng mahina.

“Ang cute cute mo talaga Li-Li ko.” He said tapos kinurot niya ang pisngi ko.

“Ouch! Nakakainis ka talaga Emerson! Aish.” Sabi ko habang hinihimas-himas ang cheeks ko.

“Sorry na Li-Li. Cute mo kasi di ko mapigilan.” I rolled my eyes.

“So Li-Li where did you spend your sem break?”

“LA.” Matipid kong sagot sa kanya.

“Ahh! Good to hear that.” Sabi niya.

“How about you?” nakangiti kong tanong sa kanya.

“I went to Singapore together with my friends.”

“Wow! So how was it??”

“Well. Uhmmm! Masaya naman siya pero may kulang.” He said habang nakatingin saakin.

“What is it??”

“Di kulang kasi wala ---“ he was cut off because his phone rang. He took his phone out and looked at the caller ID briefly before answering.

“Excuse me Li-Li.” Sabi niya sabay sagot sa tawag. Tiningnan ko siya habang nakikipag-usap siya sa phone. He’s really handsome kahit saang angle. The hell?? Why did I let him go?? Haist.

“Tunaw na ako.” Sabi niya noong bumalik na siya.

“Tss! Napaka feelingero mo talaga.” I rolled my eyes.

“HAHA! Si Li-Li ko talaga.” Sabi niya.

“Btw, I need to go! 7:30 na kasi late na ako sa class ko. Bye.” He said then he gave me a quick kiss on my cheek then tumakbo siya.

“Bye Li-Li ko! HAHAHA.” He waved at me. Nag wave din ako sa kanya.

Hay nako Emerson Tan. Crush pa din kita nakakainis lang. Emerson is my long time crush. I had a crush on him since like forever?? I don’t know. I find him handsome and so talented. He courted me for like a month I think?? Pero di ko siya sinagot kasi na duh?? Bigla lang niyang sinabi saakin na “I can’t fulfill my promise. Sorry.” Via text message! For me it was an insult, darn it! So irritating pero napatawad ko naman siya. I haven’t heard his explanations pinatawad ko pa rin siya. Mahal ko eh. Nakakainis lang pero ngayon good friends kami. The feeling is still there but I need to move on.
