"Are you fucking with me?" Dal was freaked out at how the book was back in her bag. She could swear that she had put it on the bench. There was no way she brought it back with herself.
She decided, she would put it back on the bench again.
And so she did, later at night when she had to take the bus.

"Again?" Dal found the book back in her bag in the next morning. "Either this book is cursed, or I am."
Dal dumped the book at a trashcan of her university.
***
"Fuck this shit." Dal cursed to herself as she yet again found the book back in her bag the next morning.
Coincidentally, she had not seen the boys in the past few days.
This time, she left the book at a table on one of the classrooms of her university.
It was her finals upcoming in the next week. She couldn't afford being distracted.
***
"Cursed as fuck." Dal was getting really annoyed at this point. It had been over a week that she's been trying to get rid of the book. She'd drop it off to places only to find the book back in her bag.
She couldn't find the boys anywhere, either.
She decided she would just ignore the book. She let it remain in the bag. She would treat it like it didn't exist. She needed to focus on her studies.
***
"Haha, so funny." Dal sarcastically commented, as the book appeared on her table beside her text books. She had only gone to get a book from the shelves; only to return to the book acting like its cursed self. She shoved the book back into her bag and resumed studying for the last exam of the semester.
***
Finally, the semester was over. Dal could finally take a break and work.
She was able to take a whole day off for the first time in forever. She decided she would sleep and watch some series.
As she returned from her shower after waking up, she found the book on her study table, in all its glory.
It was as if the book was telling her to open itself.
Dal sighed.
This time, she decided she would burn the book.
And so she did. She lit the book on fire at the rooftop of her dorm building.
Thinking that was it, it was all over after burning the book, she went back to her room and started watching some thriller series as she snacked on yoghurt and fruits.

FanfictionBaby, this is not even real." Jay smirked, his eyes lingering on Dal. "What?" "This is all a figment of your imagination. A fantasy. A mirage. Whatever you want to call it." "Make it make sense. We all made it out alive. Why would this be a fantas...
