"That was a great report, Miss Han." Professor Lim handed back Dal the report she made on the stats of orphans who were adopted, and their lives afterwards; after providing all the necessary feedback.
"Thank you, sir." Dal bowed, and left his room. She let out a sigh, and walked out of the university campus. She received quite a bit of hellos here and there, which she returned.
Han Dal was social. There was nothing more to that. She was extroverted and was not shy; but that did not necessarily mean that she had a lot of friends. She was not close to any person specifically who she would call her friend. All the conversations she ever had with people around her were shallow; nothing deep enough for anyone to really know her.
It was as if it was almost always like that. Dal was the outcast in her previous orphanage for not opening up to the other kids, and not playing with them. What she could not explain to them was that she was beyond playing games with children. Dal had no time or opportunity to act her age. She was always too 'mature' for her age, and she was used to it; she preferred it that way.
As she made her way to the place of her part time job, she was stopped by a bunch of boys wearing some uniform she couldn't recognize, walking in front of her rather extremely slowly and had taken up all of the space; leaving none for her to cross them.
If there was anything she hated on the streets, it was slow walkers. Dal by default walked at a rather fast pace. She couldn't stand people walking slowly, especially when they'd leave no space for others to walk.
"...party. Jungwon would be so happy." Dal couldn't help but overhear what they were talking about. It was not like she intentionally did that. They were being excessively loud for no reason.
"Yeah, it would be so fun. Jungwon would definitely love a good surprise." One with a thicker voice stated.
'Lord, if they would just walk a little faster or just... move.' She thought to herself as she walked just as slow, her fingers clenched into a soft fist. She kept checking the wrist watch she wore on her right wrist constantly. Time was passing excruciatingly slowly for her; each second feeling like hours.
Not being able to take it in anymore, she cleared her throat, and went, "would you guys move a little? I'm trying to walk here. It would be great if you guys could walk at a side. You're hogging all the space and walking really slowly. You're not letting people walk."
She was taken aback when all six of them turned around. She couldn't deny, all six of them looked extremely handsome; each rocking a different type of visual. One especially caught her eye; she assumed that was the one with the thick voice. His hair seemed dark enough to pass as black and had a bit of an undercut. Regardless, Dal wasn't one to gawk at attractive people.
"Sorry." One of them apologized, and she quickly walked ahead; at one point, sprinted, since she was running out of time.
What she didn't know was half of them were smirking behind her, and the other half were just plainly staring.

FanficBaby, this is not even real." Jay smirked, his eyes lingering on Dal. "What?" "This is all a figment of your imagination. A fantasy. A mirage. Whatever you want to call it." "Make it make sense. We all made it out alive. Why would this be a fantas...
