Tuesday
"Dad, why are the eggs from yesterday on the ceiling?"
Shinachiku stood next to me looking at the egg patty still on the ceiling. Arashi slept in my arms as I looked on.
"I thought it would come down on its own. Your sister really stuck it on there good... Kind of impressed actually."
"Well...you gotta get that off before Mom comes home."
"I know, Shina-chan...I know." he walked pasted me and grabbed his bag.
"I'm off."

I regret letting those eggs stick there. I really thought it would just fall! Now, the house smells like spoiled eggs. I hope Sakura-chan isn't still upset with me...Tuesday was hellish. I almost forgot that Hanami has lungs of steel. She cried for two hours! I have never seen her act like this, over hair of all things! Shikamaru did say it looked terrible, but I'm not a hair guru! At least Shikamaru was there to help, without him... Whew! I found out the hard way that my daughter cares a lot about her hair...
"Daddy" I felt a tug at my pants and looked down. my daughter gestured to her messy bed hair. "It's time to do my hair!"
"Do your hair? Uh sure, let me put your brother down and I'll get to it." I laid Arashi in his crib in his and Hanami's shared room and pulled his blanket over him. He looked so peaceful...
"Daddy!"
"I'm coming...!"
Hanami laid her hair tie, brush, and clips on the coffee table and sat at the bottom of the couch. "Ready?"
"Yes!" she replied with the cutest smile.
I smiled at her and sat on the couch. Her hair looked an absolute trainwreck It looked like it had multiple knots. She definitely took the wild sleeper characteristic from me...unfortunately.
"Let's see..." Sakura, how do you tame this beast every morning?
