It's been years since the death of his parents, his room now a winter wonderland of ice and snowflakes. However, now with no one running the kingdom and him being the oldest sibling, Yakko must take his place as King of Acmendelle. As such, he makes the hardest decision of his life. Open up the kingdom to all who want to visit and watch the coronation.

On one magical morning, his younger brother wakes up just as the summer sun starts to peak it's way over the mountains in the beyond, which is quite unusual since he usually sleeps later in the day. However, this day was different. The gates were about to be opened. He quickly and eagerly hops out of bed, rushing out of his room and into the hall, soon meeting up with his sister, Dot, who is also just as ecstatic.

"I can't believe it! We're going to be opening up the kingdom today!"  Dot exclaims.

"I'm so excited! This is going to be great! And maybe we'll meet some cute nurses too!"  Wakko states with confidence, Dot now giving him a bit of a side-eye, scoffing.

"Boys, go fig."

While the two siblings were chatting and celebrating, Yakko was in one of the many castle rooms, mentally preparing himself for the coronation. He paces, soon looking at props on a table that depict the items he needs to hold in place for the ceremony.

"Conceal, don't feel... don't let it show.."  he whispers to himself, soon slowly taking off his gloves and placing them on the table in front of him.

He gently takes hold of both items sat next to his gloves and turns, now facing the room's closed doors. However, his powers start to take hold, ice spreading from the bottom up towards the tops of the items. Thinking quickly on his feet, he rushes to place the items back on the table and put back on the gloves.

"C'mon Yakko.. you can do this.." he says, trying to build up some confidence before turning once more and opening up the doors, a hallway in front of him now lined up with staff.

"Tell the guards it's time to open up the gates!"  he says with pride, still trying to hold whatever fear he can in. It eating him alive inside.

The staff quickly do as their told and rush to alert the guards. This was a fantastic day in their eyes. No more did they too have to stare at the four walls of every room that was taken care of and no more did they have to breathe in the same vicious air that sat for years on end. Fresh, open air was upon them. It doesn't take long for the guards to open up the gates of the kingdom, people from other kingdoms now flooding in, talking and having fun.

Meanwhile, Wakko and Dot rush out of the castle, through the gates, into the open air and across the small bridge that leads them into the town. They have a blast, breathing in the fresh air and enjoying the time that they have around other people that have visited from all other parts of the world. An hour or two passes before the coronation finally begins.

The room is filled to the brim with eager people awaiting the pronunciation of Acmendelle's new king. The air is open and light, a small choir now sat up in the lofts softly singing the hues set for the ceremony. Not long after, Yakko walks in through the two large doors of the room, both Wakko and Dot standing to the side, both watching him carefully. It had been years since they've seen him. It was very tense yet exciting.

As he walked down the isle, his nerves became strained.. but he had to hide it all away. And that he did, soon walking up to the priest with a solid stoned face. He kneels down, the choir lowering their voices to silence. The priest gently grabs a crown from off the side table and places it on his head. He stands up, just as the priest begins to hold up the ceremonial items to him, which sat on a soft, silky pillow.
