As Yakko disappeared into the summer night, the ice that formed on the sea as he ran started to spread throughout the kingdom. It crawled up on nearby boats and buildings as snow soon began to fall all over the castle, the kingdom's inhabitants, and all the guests from different kingdoms. Wakko and Dot look up in the air just as the snow falls. They'd never imagine snowfall like this during the summer. It was incredible, yet terrifying. It was like all of Acmendelle was put on pause.
Back at the castle and in the center of town, people started to shiver, looking up into the sky with concern and confusion as they wrapped their arms around themselves. It didn't take long for Duke Plotz to start his assumptions.
"That.. that king just cursed the kingdom!" he shouts, causing people around him to be more concerned.
Wakko and Dot soon rush towards the town's center.
"The kingdom didn't get cursed.. it was an accident," Dot says, Wakko soon chiming in.
"He didn't mean for any of this to happen.."
"Are you insane?! It's snowing! In the middle of summer!" Plotz shouts once more.
"..All of this is my fault. I shouldn't have been so hard on him. I didn't know anything was going to happen. But.. I'm going to find him and make this right!" Dot states confidently.
"Someone fetch my horse!"
"Wait, Dot, I'm going with you. I should've done more to prevent anything from happening.." Wakko says as Dot's horse and his are lead out. They both mount up, grabbing their reigns, ready for adventure.
"Are you sure..? I don't want you getting hurt. I'm afraid you wouldn't be able to handle anything that may come our way."
"Dot, he's my brother too. I'm coming with.."
"Then who will watch the kingdom in the meantime?"
"The Duke will. I trust that he'll keep everything at bay and help protect the people from this cold weather."
Duke Plotz bows then stands up straight, saluting Wakko and Dot. "I shall do all that I can Princess Angelina and Prince Wakko."
"I know you won't let us down. Now.. let's ride!" Dot shouts as she then slams the reigns down, Wakko doing the same, both of their horses now on the run. Their adventure now awaits them.
Meanwhile, in the mountains, Yakko walks up the steep snowy hills that come up at every turn. He looks behind him towards Acmendelle, his face sour and full of pain. He knew this all meant he was to be alone.
