ENEMY 18

I open my eyes to look at the person. It's her brother standing there laughing at us. I look over with a sleepy face seeing Lisa laying on my shoulder still wrapped around me sleeping.

"Y'all seem close" he says to me laughing, I rub my face laughing.

"No man she's all over me" I say pulling Lisa away.

"She keeps trying to hug me , she's crazy" I say to him laughing.

I stand up stretching a little then sit back down.

"What are you doing here?" I ask with a yawn.

"Dropping stuff off from mom" he says to me.

"I could ask the same thing"

"I dropped her off like hours ago then she wanted to watch a movie but we fell asleep" I say turning the tv off.

He goes to the kitchen putting the food in the fridge then putting stuff on the island in there.

"You guys seem like you don't hate each other anymore"

"I don't actually, don't tell her" I say standing up to go to the kitchen near him trying not to wake her up.

He laughs seeing my face, I whine out.

"You like her?!" He says shouting, I hold my finger to my mouth , looking back to see if she woke up. She didn't wake up, I sigh rubbing my forehead.

"I don't know man ... I don't like it" I say freaking out. He laughs at me , he takes the remaining stuff out of the bags.

"She's messing with my mind" I say whining out , looking back to her then back to him.

"How long?" He asks me , I look down.

"About a week" I say to him.

"She acts like she doesn't like me .... Everyone knows she's whipped" I say to him and he laughs.

"Who knows then?" He asks.

"Just you and me" I say biting my middle finger.

"Not even Tommy" he laughs and I nod my head.

"He thinks me and her , do" I motion with my hands he shakes his head laughing.

"I mean he ain't wrong but , He doesn't want to actually believe it , he said it would scar him" I say to him totally nonchalant right now.

"You what!" He whisper shouts.

"Yup , your sister is a freak ... and she has separation anxiety" I say nodding my head with my eyes closed.

"Literally, I walk to my car and she freaked out ... then earlier she was panicking thinking I left the house"

"Man I needed it ... it's been years with nothing" I say fake crying holding my head.

"She's smiles too much around me and it's making me grossed out" I say lifting my shoulders up making a disgusted face.

"Like when I say I hate her ... it sounds odd now , it doesn't roll off the tongue as harsh anymore... I'm broken man" I say holding his shirt shaking him. He laughs at my behavior.

"Someone pass me a cigarette" I say dramatically he laughs and Lisa starts waking up.

I didn't know Lisa heard bits and pieces of the conversation.

"You woke her up" her brother says to me, I turn around seeing her lift up from the couch.
She rubs her eyes looking around for me.

"See look at her man" I say to her brother who laughs. She turns seeing me and her brother in the kitchen.
