ENEMY 12

Weeks go by and my lip is fine now. I'm at the boxing building , everyone is here since it's a little get together before the big fight tomorrow.

I'm sitting in the couch , others were drinking out of bottles on the floor. People were chatting coach asks me if I wanted a drink , I shake my head.

"Not a big drinker" I say to him smiling he nods his head Tommy gladly takes it going to his other homies.

Someone is telling us a funny story about when they join the place. This girl is leaning on me as I'm sitting, she's curled up with her elbow on my shoulder. I start talking remembering the story the guy is talking about. The girl that's on me is Shae she's a friend.

She laughs at what I said so does everyone else. I see Lisa coming into the building from the front, I turn to the person still talking.

Shae's been drinking , I grab the bottle from her placing it on the table. "Give it back" she whines out and I laugh picking up the drunk throwing it away, wasn't that much left in it anyways.

I sit back down she pulls my ear, I laugh pushing her back. She leans her head beside me laying her legs on my thigh. She's so weird , I swear . She burps in my ear , I glare at her she laughs.

"Oh hey Lisa" she says to Lisa that came or the circle of people, she looks to me for a second then down to the drinks on the table.

"Oh hey" she says holding her hand up, shae says something again.

"Do you want a drink" shae says pointing to it.

"Shae stop offering drinks" I say laughing at her Pushing her head to the side.

"Im good thanks" Lisa says with a soft smile.

"Um where's-?" She starts to say and Tommy puts his hand on her shoulder shouting.

"Hey Bestie" Tommy says to Lisa that nods her head, she's still looking ahead of her.

"Shae is going to be your new training partner, so forget about Danny" Tommy says and I laugh at him.

She doesn't look that excited about the news she forces a smile.

"Oh cool" Shae says still on me, she moves her legs back sitting on them.

"I'll catch you guys later ... I was just stopping by" Lisa says picking up a drink walking away. Tommy looks to Lisa who is walking out the back door, he shrugs his shoulders, she's so drunk.

"I'll talk to her ... she's going to be my partner" Shae says excited , she lifts up from the seat walking to the back door. I lean forward with my elbows on my knees.

"I see Danny is getting all the ladies" Joey says to me, he's the guy that was telling the story.

"How?" I laugh , I move my legs side to side.

"Shae was laying all over you" he says to me , I shake my head.

"That's shae" I say to him shrugging my shoulders.

"Joey gets zero play" another person says , Joey hits him laughing.

"I heard you get around" that guy says to me, I cringe.

"I don't, don't know who said that" I say to him.

"You and shae were a thing 2 years ago" he says to me I rub my neck about to shout.

"Bruh how many times do I have to say this" I say laughing looking down shaking my head.

"No we weren't we were just close then but not not so much, she's a good friend but we aren't that close anymore" I say to that stupid guy behind Joey.
