ENEMY 17

I take Lisa into her house, she fall asleep in the car due to crying. My eyes are red , I place her on her bed. I walk to her bathroom looking for some type of ointment to put on the bruises.

I pull my hoodie down by the collar to look at the mark on her neck. It isn't too bad but it's noticeable , the one on her thigh is pretty bad.

It hasn't bruised yet but it's a red mark on her thigh. He hit her thigh really hard for it be red still. I lift up her pant leg rubbing the cream on there. I rub my eyes with my T-shirt, I go to the bathroom again washing my hands. I dry them off quickly hearing her phone ring. I pull it out of her bag, the caller is...

My voice is going to be shaky still.

"Lisa did you get home yet?" I hear Tommy say.

"She's at her house" I say into the phone.

"Danny?"

"Yea"

"Why are you there" he asks.

"I drop her off here"

"Are you okay your voice sounds different" he says.

I look over to Lisa as she sleeps, I turn in front of me biting my lip. I step out of the room, going in the hallway to the window at the end.

"Some guy was touching all over her in the locker room" I say looking out the window, sigh.

"What?!" He shouts into the phone.

"Yea one of your fucking friends" I say into the phone.

"You left the restaurant and he was talking mad shit about Lisa while she was sitting right beside me"

"I told him to stop cuz shes sitting right there" I throw my hands up.

"What he do , he's like oh I don't care... I wasn't having it , I stand up shaking my head at him."

"I walk away from the table a little , Lisa was still sitting there and he pushed her shoulders back, so I slapped him"

"Hours later he probably followed in the locker room, she told me she was going to the locker room to change"

"That's when everything happened, I just kept hearing her screaming in there, he had locked the door" I say as my voice starts shaking.

"I beat the living shit out of him, I almost fucking killed him, that's how fucking angry I was at him" I rub my eyes with my fingers.

I sit there looking out the window, I hear my name being called over and over. It's like panicking calling out. I get up quickly she walks out the room going down the opposite way still saying my name , she's panicking.

"Lisa" I say she turns around , sighing.

"I thought you left" she says holding her chest.

"No I was right there" I say pointing back to the window, she rubs her eyes.

I know something that will cheer up a bit.

"Did you still want to watch a movie" I say to her smiling a little.

"Oh I forgot , sure" she says , she's messing with the cuffs of the hoodie.

"You can keep it" I say to her.

"Nope you can have it back" she says about to take it off, I stop her.

"I'll go starts a moving downstairs" I say to her walking to the stairs.

She walks into her room , changing out of the clothes into some lounge wear. She still puts my hoodie back on, I'm sitting on the floor when my knee up.

Looking for a movie, I find one clicking on it. I pause it so it doesn't play while she isn't down here. I go to her kitchen looking though the fridge.

"Ew just nasty corn" I say looking through it.

I see some dumplings in there, my eyes grew and I grab the container. Her mom makes the best dumplings ever. I don't care if they are cold, I didn't realize Lisa was in the kitchen watching go though her fridge.

"Danny" she says I turn around with a dumpling in my mouth as I hold the container.

I quickly chew as she snatches the container from me. I wipe my mouth smiling, she looks down to the dumplings seeing one missing.

"My mom made them for me not you" she says to me closing the container. I lean onto the counter laughing.

"It was good" I say to her, I speak again.

"Can you pass me a water" I say to her she grabs a water chucking it at me.

I catch it glaring at her, I drink some water.

"I see you have all them drinks in there, you have solo parties in here" I say laughing she turns around narrowing her eyes.

"I turn this place into a strip club" she says taking a bottle out , I spit out my drink into the sink.

I choke and laugh at the same time.

"I just like the taste , I don't drink all of it" she says sitting down on her couch.

"You don't" she says she's not asking me.

"Nah , not into it" I say to her closing my water bottle wiping my chin off.

I go the couch sitting at the end. She looks over she pulls my arm, I fall onto my side.

"Stop playing around" she says to me, lifting me up beside her. My body is burning up, she curls up beside me moving around to get confortable.

"Can you scoot over please" I say biting my lips looking side to side.

She wraps her arms around my arm, I fake cry. She press play for the movie none of us could stay awake.

Someone unlock the door, coming in. They stand in front of us laughing , they take a picture of us. They shake us, I open my eyes seeing the person, I rub my eyes so they can focus.
