I've been in the hospital for days, my back stopped hurting since they pumped me up with so much medicine. Lisa came to visit every single day except for today.
She's probably working right now so could be why. I look around the room sighing, the doctor comes in telling me I'm able to be discharged from the hospital.
It's been a couple weeks.
Lisa is trying to get off of work, she getting frustrated at her manager. She told her to close for today, the doctors take me to my house. They help me into the house, they told me to avoid stairs. Great my bed is up there, I tell them the couch can fold out to a bed. They open it up ,carefully laying me on the couch.
"Did she stop by when I was asleep" I ask the nurses, they sigh.
"No she didn't" they say to me , I nod my head.
"If she stops by tell her I'm here" I say to them they smile walking out of my house.
I sit there waiting and waiting. I ask the nurses to not lock the door behind them.
10 pm
Still nothing, I look to the door sighing. I hear a car out back in the parking lot. Someone must be locking their car doors. The door opens , it was Lisa.
"Hey hey" she says smiling she looked so tired.
She closes the door behind her rubbing her eyelids. She comes to the couch bed sitting on it, with her legs hanging off.
"How are you feeling" she says smiling softly, she's very exhausted. I need to take a shower or something. Hospital stuff on me I don't feel clean.
I lay my arm on my forehead crying , it hurts. She moves my arm from my forehead, she wipes my tears away.
"I need to take a bath" I say sighing out , wiping my face.
"Are you sure" she says to me, I nod my head. She helps lift me up, I hold her very tight.
"Don't let go" I say to her she walks me to the bathroom downstairs.
She goes to turn the water on , I'm holding on for dear life.
"Danny loosen up please" she says looking at her arm, I look down then loosen my grip.
Months go past its finally fall. The people at the boxing center heard the news they told me I can take a break from there for as much as want.
My birthday month.
OCT 23
I walk around a park near the neighborhood. Listening to music, feeling the breeze. I blow air out seeing it in the air. I had my black hoodie with a bleached stain on it. I decided to shave my hair down on the sides, cut some of it ,I dye it reddish pink.
I walk to the courtyard of the townhouses. I haven't talked to Lisa in a few weeks. She got mad me of something so stupid. I'm at home right she came in started talking about something.
She thought I was messing with other girls , what?. Why do people think I get around when I don't. She got so mad , I told her that the girl forced herself on me. She wouldn't listen to me, she heard the story from a friend.
Who know what certain friends do?.... Exaggerate things. I told listen I wasn't going to sit here and argue with her.
