City Lockdown-Penny

After the breakout at the Raft, Penny spent the past 2 weeks helping the NYPD take down criminals and outposts set up by the escaped convicts around the city.

It's been locked down and the bridges are watched by checkpoints.

As she helped The NYPD she had 3 main ideas that she ran through her head. 3 main problems that she needed to fix. 2 of which have been done

She worked up a plan with her contavct Yuri so they can work on rounding up the Criminals. 2 she made her new suit. She desperately needed a new one anyway.

Her new spider suit was perfect.

A full bodysuit with a red chest. With the same white spider logo. This time the logo wrapped around to her back to form the same logo on her back. Blue legs with white strips going in a spiral around the legs and connecting to the red shoes that had white on the heels where the leg strips connected. Her top was still sleeveless, but she had red sleeves that went halfway up her arm and stopped just past her elbows. The gloves had white around the knuckles and the same spirals going around the glove and stopped at the end of the sleeve. Instead of blue, the underside of the gloves where white as well.

And as for her mask, her mask was still reletibkey the same. A half mask. The mouth was visible (again like Batman's mask) but this time her head was full, instead having a smal open section in the back near the neck for her hair to glow freely. And 2 white strips connected from the corner of her masks eyes around to the back of her head as well as down to the corners of her mouth.

And her biggest achievement, at least for now, is the Insulation she added as an extra layer, to protect herself against your electricity.

Now that she had her suit, she planned to do one of 2 things. Take you down permanently or try one last time to help you. And she had also worked out her feelings.

She still didn't know why. But she had concluded that she had fallen for you for some reason. She can't explain it and doesn't bother trying but that's all the can think about when it comes to why she hurts when she is separated from you or thinks about you.

So she chased after a vehicle as it raced didn't eh street as police vehicles follow it.

She swung in the air as she stared at it. "I can help take back the city one baddie at a time, but I need to find Rhino and Y/n. But they disappeared after they escaped. I don't know where they are. But I know they have to be working together stilll"

As she chased after the car she web zipped to it as she landed on the roof. Then she climbed to the side and grabbed the roof as she swung down and kicked both of the criminals out before she jumped off and webbed the car as it slowed down and stopped.

Without wasting a. Second she turned and started swinging again "Yuri" she says as she calls her contact "Any leads on Electro? What about Rhino?"

Yuri sighs "nothing yet. I'm surprised it was just them who left the raft. Or at least that we know of. Right now my priority is making sure the city stays as safe as possible. With the curfew and patrols on the city everyone is on edge but it's necessary. I'll let you know if anything spikes on our radars"

Penny gets frustrated as she turns a corner and swings a separate direction "where are you." She whispers to herself. As Penny swung, she heard an explosion as she looks down and sees some raft escapees starting a firefight with the police.

She lets go of her web and flips so she is falling headfirst towards the scene. When she gets close enough she spins and webs the ground before she yanks herself for more force downward.

When she reaches the scene she flips again and kicks the first guy in the back as a very loud crack sounds as he screams and falls forward.

She then looks over and immediately throws a web bomb on one before it detonated and webbs up him and his partner. She then leans back to evade a swing from a pipe as she grabs the criminals shirt collar and pulls herself up as she headbuts him. As he stumbles back she punches him 3 times as she gives him a concussion before she jumps and drop kicks him as he flies away.

She then turns to look at the 2 prisoners she used her bomb on as she shoogs webs at both of them and turns as she swings her arms forward to yank them above her. Then she yells as she swings down and slams both of them into the ground. Hard.

Without taking a breath she turns and jumps as she starts to swing away.

"Jesus" one of the officers say as they walk forward from cover "that was brutal" his friend replies. "Spider-Girl is angry about something she never beats them that badly"

As Penny turned another corner she felt her tingle as she bent backwards to evade a sniper bullet that whizzed past her. She looks up and sees a criminal on a roof with a hunting rifle aiming at her.

She fires a web that sticks to his chest as she swings him down from the roof and throws him inside the building through a window.

Then she pulls herself up as she jumps over the roof and lands on it. As she stays in her crouched position she looks forward as she sees a few criminals on the building across.

They seem to be building reinforcements in the roof.

With an angry growl she grabs a web bomb and throws it across to that building. It lands with a. Roll and detonated as it webbs up 2 of the criminals.

The other 7 all turn to face them as Spider-agile leaps and joins them. She yells with anger as she grabs the first webbed enemy and throws him into the group as she knocks three of them over. As the others charge her she web zips the first one and knocks him out with one punch before she flips over the second and grabs his shirt from
Behind and flips again as she slams him headfirst into the ground. She then keeps ahold of him as she uses his possibility dead form as a shield to block an attack before she drops him and grabs the enemies wrist as he yells and feels his wrist snap as he drops the weapon.

She shoved him with force as he flies back and hits the wall.

Then she fired a web at the other guy who was hit with the bomb as she spins and throws him against the wall.

The last guy runs at her as she simply steps aside as he trips and falls off the roof. But she looks over and webbs him up so he hangs there as he yells with dear.

Then she jumps up and lands on a small antenna as she hangs off it slightly. Her right arm dangling free as she scans the area.

"Too many criminals to clean up at once. Despite everything we've done these past weeks we still barely got anyone. Someone has to know something. About anything. Even if it's not y/n a lead is a lead."

As she says this a helicopter flies by as it shines it's light at her. Then her police scanner goes off "we have Visual on Spider-Girl, I repeat we have Visual one Spider-Girl, she's taken down another outpost it looks like...I feel bad for those guys. She really kicked the shit out of them"

As the officer says this the helicopter flies away as it keeps searching for more criminals. Then she gets a phone call as she holds her phone to her ear "yea" she says.

"Hey I just got a tip, we don't know for sure but someone reported a disturbance at the docks. They said it sounded like some fighting so we could have a lead"

Spider-Girl nods as she replies "thanks I'll check it out" she says as she hangs up. She then turns and looks towards the massive cranes in the distance as she jumps and starts swinging.

"Come on. Be something helpful" she says
