Edens Hangover

Eden sat in her chair as she listened to a man speak.

His voice was loud and commanding. Stern and Disciplined. Well, at least a Holographic video of him.

"Petulant child! Have you no shame! No honor! You place yourself amongst the Mortals and act like you are one of them. But you do not remember your goal! The entire reason you are there in my places A.C.E cannot move forward until everything is set in motion! Something that cannot happen until you grow up! You aren't back home with us! You are on your own! And the constant flirting and desire to sleep with mortals does not help anything!"

He yells at her as Deimos and Phobos stand still beside her throne.

Eden sighs as she rubs her head "what would you have me do?. Kill? Rob? Deceive? You told me when I got here that as long as no one learned who we were or had any ideas we were safe. And every single person who has even barely guessed who we are have been dealt with within the hour. So I don't understand what the point of all this is

The man spoke again "it does not matter. I am being reported on everything that happens. Your obsession with this man is causing you to get distracted! If this continues I shall have no choice but to banish him myself!"

Eden suddenly got frustrated as she looked up and shouted "ITS NOT AN OBSESSION I FUCKING LOVE HIM!"

The man laughs. He laughs hard too "impossible! You only met him weeks ago. Hey you've been there for 8 years!"

Eden leans forward in her seat "You don't understand father! I've watched him ever since we arrived! I never managed to learn his true identity until recently! But you know as well as anyone else that I've watched him! I chose him 2 years after we arrived I just never had the chance or opportunity to speak with him!"

The man speaks again "ENOUGH!!!!" He screams. Thunder crashes outside as a mighty thunderstorm manifest in seconds.

"You will obey me! Forget this boy! Forget your hormones! Forget your desire! You are there to do one job! And that is all you shall do!"

As soon as he says this the hologram shuts off as The two guards take 2 steps away from her chair as she starts to breath heavily. Taking deep breaths as she stands up from her chair and paces back and fourth.

"He doesn't understand. Just because he's the fucking head honcho he thinks he can just control everything! I may be his youngest but I'm still a fucking-"

She stops as she takes another deep breath as she screams "AAAAAAAH!!!!!!"

pure rage filled her voice as her hair turned bright yellowish orange as it lit on fire. She then ran forward and punches the wall. Then again. And again. And again.

Then she punched it one more time as she created a small crack that went straight up. "Just...just fucking...let me have this!"

She went to punch the wall again but Deimos grabbed her arm. "Lady Eden!"

She cuts him off "Let go of me." She pulls her arm away as her hair goes out and returns to its regular brown color.

She just turns and storms out of the room as she grabs her jacket and puts it on. "Deimos. Phobos. Fuck off. Do whatever until I get back"

As she leaves Eden rubs her right knuckles as they bled a little. She then left through a Stone door that had a Spartan helmet carved into the middle.

As Eden made her way into a Coffee Shop. It was one of the places that genuinely helped her relax. She still enjoyed living like a regular person even if it was occasional.
