Christmas Day

Penny paced back and forth in her room as she held her head.

Dressed in her black spider suit as she tried to remember. The last thing she could recall was getting Into a fight with Shocker. But everything after is a blur. She tried and tried to remember. As she knew something was wrong.

As she Paced the voice in her head spoke. Again and again and again.

Close your heart, Penelope. Your life is worth more than what you are seeking. You lose your memory for good reason. The Lord is trying to have you from yourself, by remembering the recent event you will only harm yourself.

She bit her thumb as she crossed her arms and stood still as she stared at the floor.

"Something is wrong. I know it. I k ow it's wrong. Y/n. My husband. He's hurting. I'm hurting. He cheated on me but he...he didn't... But he did I saw the evidence. Yet he acts like he was innocent. What is going on? He's not acting like himself. He was depressed, he was a completely different person. Why can't I remember what happened after the shocker? What is going on?"

As she started to pace again the voice spoke

Penny kept pacing as she fought herself mentally "no, no he hasn't. He's been insulting you. Hurting him. Making fun of him. Y/n is mentally unstable. He's liable to kill someone for looking at him wrong. Damien isn't exactly the best when he interacts with y/n"

Exactly. Y/n would have killed you if I hadn't stopped you. If Damien and Eden had not been there, to keep you safe and control y/n, he would have killed you. You know this.

"No, he wouldn't. No matter what anyone it anything says he would kill me. Sure we fought, and when we fought he did some damage. But even back when we first met, back when he first got his power he would kill me. He had plenty of opportunities but he didn't. He never did."
