Peering across the fog layered bridge, Rongyue silently studied the sturdiness of the wood. It seemed as though the bridge had been here for a long time but was still being properly maintained.

Past this creaking bridge was the Forbidden zone where S rank beasts are mostly found.

Even though the test didn't specifically ask for a certain A Rank beast's core, how could Rongyue let go of this chance?

She had long done her research on the types of beast found on the Mountain and one name stood out to her.

When she was back at Guiwang Valley, she remembered Master Rong mentioning multiple times about the Beast known as the YongHeng Long (Perpetual dragon) whose parts had many medicinal uses.

People gave it the name 'Yong Heng' which meant perpetual for its medical uses manage to extend people's life and 'Dragon' because its looks almost like a dragon.

Thinking back, she still felt extremely bad about accidentally burning down one of his precious medicinal storage rooms where Master Rong kept many medicinal herbs and treasures.

So now that she had the opportunity, she wanted to hunt down that beast and take its parts as a gift for Master Rong. Since she needed its core for the test anyways, this was like killing two birds with a stone.

The YongHeng Long although ranks at A, mostly resides where S rank beasts could be found. Which is also why its beast materials are extremely rare and expensive.

Seeing that the bridge was sturdy enough, she silently began crossing it, trying her best to ignore the pair of eyes that seemed to be staring holes into her back.

He wasn't saying much but she could tell that there was a frown on Shen ZhaoXie face even without looking at him. The instructors had warned them not to go past the bridge as even experienced S rank Bearers would find it difficult to fight against as S Rank Beast.

As she passed through the fog and arrived at the other end of the bridge, what met her was an amazing sight.

There was actually large rounded pillars that seemed to have been around for decades. Covered with frosts and overgrown roots.

Each step she took was slow and cautious. She wrapped her cloak tighter around herself and studied the area around cautiously.

Shen Zhaoxie watched silently from his spot as Rongyue moved around carefully. There was a frown on his peerless face but he chose to remain silent not questioning her decision. After all, he was merely here to observe her.

On the other hand, Rongyue realized that there seemed to have been something passing through this area before. There were still tracks and clues that showed something had went past this place further towards the west direction.

She silently climbed on to Yimo's back and together they followed the tracks carefully. After moving around for some time, they finally came to a small opening where something seemed to be moving up ahead.

Placing a hand on Yimo's back, she told him to stop and silently got off. Crouching down, she silently approached the beast in front.

Its large body was similar to a lizard with deep purplish scales from head to toe. Two large wings gently moving up and down as it nibbled at the dead carcass in front of it. It appeared to be carefree as though nothing would be able to harm it.

Rongyue glanced at the 'peaceful' looking beast and noticed the magical energy from its body was overpowering.

It's huge orange orb-like eyes suddenly turned and fixed onto her location but before she could even have time to react, the massive figure vanished before her eyes and in an instant reappeared in front of her.
