Gentle sunlight penetrated through the window lattices, it permeated and left mottled shadows in the room, a figure laid in the bed, her breathing even and soft but naturally, her eyes fluttered open. 

Rongyue initially thought that she would not be able to fall asleep on an unfamiliar bed, but unexpectedly, she slept well that night.

Her mind was full, and she woke up automatically, there was the usual glimmer of indifference in her eyes as her sensitive ears picked up on the movements outside,

"My lady is awake? Vice-headmaster Liufeng have arrived and is waiting outside."

Hearing the familiar voice, Rongyue gave a short response. When she left Guiwang Valley, Qiuqi had already prepared 2 maids for Weilan. 

As the distinguished Young lady of Guiwang Valley how could she not have a few "maids" by her side?

Just that no one knew that these "maids" were not ordinary maids, they were also part of Guiwang valley's elite shadow guards. That why when they arrived, it seemed like there was only 4 people. 

Sitting up, she carefully prepared herself, unlike those pampered ladies of a boudoir in the capital, she did not like having people around to serve her. Her hands moved fast with familiarity, clearly showing she was used to it. 

After freshening up, she gently pushed the doors of her chambers open. Tianzhu and Tianyi, the two girls arranged for her, was silently waiting by the side, they bowed in greeting as Rongyue stepped out. 

In the past, Rongyue had also grown up as the 'Second young miss' of Li Clan so she was used to such movements from the maids and simply wave her hand, allowing them to be at ease. Although she was not used to the new personnel's, moving forward, they would have to interact more often and most likely have to rely on one another. Such stiffness, she found it unnecessary.  

The two girls knew that their new master preferred quiet and peaceful atmosphere and silently followed behind her as she made her way to the main hall. 

Entering the main hall, she could see some helpers moving about and at the inner room where they were to have breakfast, Liufeng greeted her, he had already ordered people to prepare a sumptuous breakfast and was already waiting to guide her around the academy. 

This was unheard of in the academy. For a Vice-headmaster to be fawning over a student, even going to the extent of getting helpers to prepare her meals, acting like he's her steward. 

Internally, although grateful for his assistance, Rongyue couldn't help but wonder if this man was not busy at all.

If Liufeng knew what was going through her head, he would definitely go on a hunger strike and protest. 

He was so busy with the academy's affair but because Shen Zhaoxie had told him about the possibility that someone from Guiwang Valley would arrive, and left an order to make sure she stayed until he was back, Liufeng could only give his utmost service. 

Seeing that only Rongyue had appeared, Liufeng gave out a breath of relief.

He silently observed her and noticed that although her temperament was cold, she was also noble and righteous, with an outstanding appearance that could actually easily overshadow the many young rich ladies from the capital. 

Indeed her appearance was so breathtaking, he had missed the fact that there were two new servant girls behind her, otherwise he would definitely question where they had appeared from.
