C H A P T E R 20

will Byers POV
We all cram back into Nancy's car, me and mike in the back of course, which I don't mind of course, and Nancy wheeler and robin Buckley in he front seat (Nancy driving of course.)

God how these past weeks have been confusing, i had came out to my best friend, which honestly felt amazing, just to you know actually tell someone besides robin, and them be okay with it!!

And well me and mike haven't really talked since then, but we did today, and it's amazing how we're just talking like it's normal, like I'm not different.

Well, this morning was very confusing, i come out of the shower to screaming, and to see the boy I fancy sitting on the couch just starring at me, and now I'm here in a car going to the supermarket, with them.

The car stops suddenly near the familiar grocery store, we are start flooding out of the car, first mike gets out quickly and runs over to open the car door for me and help me out, kind of like how a proper man would help a woman out of the car; in whom he likes.

We began to walk in the store, with Robin and Nancy leading the way, still confused on how Nancy was handling everything so flawlessly. I look up to mike who is also walking with his head down looking at his shoes.

My mom has always said I'm the observant type, like i could instantly tell how someone is feeling, mikes face and posture is giving that he is in fact upset, i, confused as why but I don't dare ask.

Shopping goes by without a worry, well mostly we had gotten the bread, and sandwich supplies, the problem only occurs when we actually try to buy the things.

Robin is straight up broke- i already know this fact because she has told me many times before. And Nancy just so happened to not bring enough.

"Here guys i have some money." I pull out the extra money from my pocket, you must always be prepared for everything. You never know what's going happen.

"How is it that your always so beautifully prepared?" Mike touches onto my hand, I love this human contact, especially with him, but as quickly as it began it ending with him ripping his hand away from mine, taking the money I have offered.

"Thank, you will!" Nancy takes the offering, and pays for the stuff, we leave the store and once again cram into Nancy's car.

Robin Buckley POV

A picnic was not at all what I expected today, but how could you ever say no to someone so lovely as Nancy wheeler?

The drive was nice, me and Nancy were catching up since, yeah really it has been awhile since we talked, which is actually mostly my fault.

A lot of things are usually my fault, but it's very clear that this is mine. I've wasted way to much of my free time meeting up with Tammy, it's not even fun anymore, I don't really even feel anything for her anymore. I just like the affection, and really who else is willing to go out with me?

We finally arrive to the nice woods, interrupting my thoughts as we began to get out of the car.

I admire the fresh air as we get out of the crowded car, and began are walk further into the woods, we all follow behind Nancy as she leads us away, she stops at what I'm assuming is the "spot" it's a beautiful little cliff side with lots of trees for shade.

Nancy pulls out the Picnic blanket, throwing it out on the ground then smoothing it out calmly with her hands, then plopping the basket onto the blanket, I watch her movement closely, she's soft and gentle at the touch.

A calm beauty.
She gestures us to come sit down, so we do, silence follows this, but as we know anywhere I am silence certainly doesn't stay silent.

"Well then nance, how your day been?" Mike and will shoot me a look, I return a quite confused look back at the both of them
"That doesn't matter, hey dose anyone know where eleven is today-." Mike says, I can tell he's desperately trying to change the subject.

"No mike, it dose matter. Johnathan cheated on me with-." She stopped herself, angry fills my body, who? Why? Why the hell would anyone try to hurt someone as perfect as Nancy wheeler

"He's an ignorant asshole, a loser with no life, he's ugly useless and a dumbass to cheat on someone as perfect as you? What the hell, he doesn't deserve you."
Silence fills the air, Nancy holding her breathe.

"He cheated on me with Tammy" I flinch back a bit, I mean how could she? Should've expected this? I just shrug my shoulders "well, we aren't good friends anyway she's a bitch, their both bitches." I stand up quickly "I am so done with men."

This makes Nancy chuckle a bit, she also throws herself up onto her feet "you know what! I am always done with this bullshit I'm done with men done." She declares grabbing my hand, almost making my whole face turn red.

I look down to the ground where the two men are sitting, oh yeah theirs still men in the area. Will immediately jumps up from the ground onto his feet without even thinking about it.

"So will your not that much into men aswell?" Nance says causing wills to shoot me a sorta worried look, I try to look sentimental or whatever but it ends up with me and will in a burst of laughter and giggles

"Yeah I hate them" I roll my eyes, making Will laugh even more, I grab his hand, we all look down to the only remaining person sitting on the floor, I give him an angry look, hesitantly he stand up to his feet.

"Hears to feminism!" He shouts grabbing wills hand to form a cute little circle of sorts.

Mikes POV:

After our talk of "feminism" was finally over, I don't really understand what "feminism" is but will says it's good so I like it as-well guess that means I'm a feminist, anyway hanging out with Robin is way funnier than I thought it would be.

And Nancy is still surprising me with how she's acting considering she just broke up with her boyfriend, but really how do I feel? I should definitely feel worse with the fact that I got dumped by el, but to be honest I just feel like I'm missing an old friend, lovers should feel more than just friendship right?

I love el, but I don't know what love means anymore.
