Rory had gone downstairs to discuss the witches with Elijah, the seemingly more civilised brother, only to find every room had no trace over housing the noble original.

She recounted stories she had heard and one of them answered the current situation: Klaus Mikaelson and his fear of abandonment which cause him to dagger his siblings.

"Looking for someone love" at this phrase Rory turned sharply towards Klaus who made his way over to her.

"Yes, your brother." Klaus acted as if he were thinking deeply.

"Maybe he went out to enjoy the fresh night air" Rory let out a sarcastic laugh knowing this was not the truth. Shaking her head she began to make her way upstairs.

"You know you never told me, what your intentions are with Hayley and the baby" she looked back at him in annoyance.

"That's because I don't intend to" she replied sharply

"That's why Marcel doesn't trust you"

"That's why I don't dagger all my siblings and wonder why they hate me" she rebutted before walking up the stairs. Klaus stood in shock at the temerity of the vampire who had previously stood before him.

Maybe he would have gone after her and killed her but there was something alluring and powerful about her and he just couldn't put his finger on it.

Merely a few moments after her talk with Klaus, the front door opened rather harshly, the werewolf looked towards her friend before picking up an iron rod and making her way downstairs.

The duo came to face a blonde woman who seemed to be extremely annoyed.

"Who the hell are you?" Hayley questioned as she made her way further down the stairs.

The blonde sighed before replying.

"Oh, you must be the maid. My bags are in the car – get them, will you?" Rory raised an eyebrow whilst Hayley put the poker down and answered.

"Hello. Not the maid."

"Right. You're that werewolf girl my brother, Klaus, knocked up. I was expecting to see some kind of supernatural, miracle baby bump. Guess you're not showing yet. It's Hayley, isn't it?"

"You have your brother's manners." Rory highlighted.

"And his temper, too, so watch it. Where's Elijah?" She asked,

"Beats me, he's long gone" Hayley said in frustration.

"What do you mean, "long gone"?" The confusion was evident in Rebekah's tone.

"Well, one minute he was here making epic promises about protecting me in this predicament that a bottle of scotch and some bad decisions got me into – he was all poetic about how we're family – and then Klaus told me he bailed. Guess that's what I get for trusting a vampire." Hayley said, bitterness evident in her face.

"Elijah is not just any vampire, and he doesn't break promises. Which means Niklaus has done something dastardly and Klaus-like. Klaus! Get out here and tell me what you've done with our brother, you narcissistic, back-stabbing wanker!" Rebekah yelled through the entire house.

Klaus opened the doors, rather dramatically in Rory's opinion.

"Enough with all the shouting. Little sister, I should have known. I assume the six dead vampires were your doing?" He asked
