Enemies to Lovers // Steddie

Chapter 1

*An alarm bell rings*
"Ugh!" Steve groaned as the bell kept ringing. "I hate going to school, then having to work right after." Steve looked at the time and jumped up, he had 20 mins you get ready and pick Robin up.

"Shit!" He shouts as heading over to the bathroom brushing his teeth, it took about 10 minutes for Steve to get to Robins house then to school. He got ready and didn't have time to comb his hair so he decided to do it in the car.

Steve was heading to Robins house whilst drumming his hands on the steering wheel to the song. He pulls into her driveway and honked his horn signalling to Robin that he was here. "Heyy Stevie." She said as she hopped into the car already messing with the radio to play what song she wants. "Hey, Robin." He says whilst trying to stop her from changing the songs.

Robin doesn't give up and keeps trying but eventually Steve had to give up because he needed to keep his eyes on the road. "Ugh! Fine change the song." Steve surrendered and threw his head back.

They arrived at the school shortly, Robin immediately jumped out and headed towards Vickie aka her crush/other best friend, Steve sat in the car for a few minutes until getting out and heading towards Jason Carver the captain of the basketball team even though Steve was 10x better.

"Hey, Harrington my guy." Jason says as giving Steve the signature 'bro handshake' "Hey Carver." He says sounding disappointed "What? Not glad to see me?" Jason carries on. "Nah, you good I just didn't get much sleep last night." The bell rang and they all scattered to get to their classes.

Everyone was just dismissed to lunch and Steve sat with Vickie and Robin at a table next to the basketball jocks table Steve occasionally talking to Jason and the others.

Then the room went quiet as Eddie 'the freak' Munson stands on his table and starts shouting "As long as your in the band, or science. Or parties!" Eddie says mockingly at the table full of party geeks and then shouts again "Or a game where you toss balls into laundry baskets!" Jason stands up and shouts back "You want something freak!" Eddie just puts his tongue out and puts his hands on his head like they're horns. Eddie just smiles and walks off the table and back to his chair.

Steve sees Robin giggling and asked "Is that amusing to you?" Robin answers with "Well kinda, Eddie is my friend." She says and Steve chokes out his water. "You're friends with Eddie 'the freak' Munson!" Steve whispers and shouts at the same time.

"So?" Robin gestured her hands in a way to make her look confused. "I fucking hate him!" Steve replies aggressively. "Chill." Robin touches his shoulder in a calming way. "Why do you hate Eddie?" Robin asked "He's just so annoying, he can't ever leave Jason alone, his stupid hair is always knotty, his idiotic eyes always stared into space and idk I just hate him!" Steve continues out of breath. "Wow Steve you seem to pay a lot of attention to Eddie." Robin chuckles. "No! If you ever say that again I will never cover for you at work." He says proud of himself. "Fine fine but one thing, get to know Eddie before you hate him" Steve rolled his eyes at the stupid request.

The bell rang and everyone scuttled to their next class.

Steve was just walking in his hallway remembering which lesson he has. "Ugh! Stupid chemistry and I have to sit next to the freak Munson!" Steve hated chemistry and was questioning if he should skip it or not but he decided not to just because he didn't want to get detention.

In chemistry, as usual Steve tries to move as far as he can away from Eddie who is just staring out the window. Steve finds himself staring at Eddie and then Eddie speaks up, "Your staring, Harrington." He chuckles lightly. "Yeah, not at you at the trees outside dickhead." Steve tries to whisper so the teacher doesn't catch him.

The lesson went by quickly and Steve listens whilst Eddie dozed off because of how boring it was. At the end of the lesson Eddie woke up and then the teacher announced there was going to be a project and you have to work with the parter.

"Ugh! Why!?" Steve grunts. "Awh, I'm glad to be working with you too Harrington" Eddie says sarcastically.
Eddie hated Steve and Steve hated Eddie nothing complicated about that. Eddie sighs and passes Steve a note with his number on it. "Call me when you wanna work on the project?" Eddie simply asks. "Fine." Steve complains once again. The lesson was over and hurried to his last lesson which flew by quickly.

As Steve walked out to his car, Jason approached him and asked why he was talking to Eddie in chemistry. "Well Jason, I have to work with him on the project sadly." Steve sighs and starts to walk towards his car. When he made it to his car, Robin was already waiting for him. "Hurry up Stevie, we are gonna be late for work" Robin said angrily as getting in the car.

"Chill Robin, we aren't gonna be late." Obviously Steve kept his word and they wasn't late. Steve hated work the only thing that made it tolerably was when Robin was there to keep him entertained. "Let's watch a movie on the laptop." Robin suggested "Alrighty then Robbie." Robin playfully punched his arm and he pretended like it hurt really bad and fell to the floor.

"Call the ambulance!" Steve shouts trying to hold in his laughter. They both end up bursting into laughter as Steve pretended to have a broken arm, Steve got up and started the movie but at that moment they hear the bell on the door chime. They both look at the door as they see Eddie Munson walk into the movie store "Yo Robin, I would like to return these." Eddie said as noticing Steve "Heya Harrington, I didn't know you worked here."

Eddie carries on but Steve just rolls his eyes and does his returns. "Eddie?" Robin asks. "Yeah?" Eddie looks confused as he answered "How do you know Steve?" Robin asks completely confused. "Everybody knows him since he's 'King' Steve." Eddie chuckles. Robin looks at him not so confused anymore. "Anyway I gotta go bye Robin, Bye Harrington." Robin shouted Bye back but Steve just nodded instead of saying anything.
