Y/N'S POV:'Long time no see L/N.'
my last name rolled off his tongue, his hair sat perfectly just grazing his forehead. Oh fuck. y/n snap out of it.
'Oh Shawn .. hi'
what do I do? How do I act? Do I hug him? Walk away?
Before you know it I'm nodding at the chair across from me, motioning for him to sit down.
I'm at a loss for words.
'Well this isn't awkward at all.'
He chuckles - bringing me out of my own thoughts.
'You really gotta work on keeping that mouth of yours shut.'
charming.
'Why aren't you mad at me?'
I blurt out. why did I just say that.
'Oh, I am. But I can't show that in public eh? We're still best friends as far as the press and the mendes army is concerned - our matters are private.'
He speaks with a harsh hushed tone but a wide grin is plastered on his face, his sweet like honey eyes connecting to mine. Wow. Even I'm believing him.
'I-'
'Save it Y/N. I don't want to hear it. You're right - I don't feel the same. I never have.'
Ouch. I swear I saw a tear prick his eyes - but he quickly regained himself. It was probably nothing.
'I'm glad you're happy Shawn. I hope you're new music's a hit. It always is'
I smile, and walk off, if I didn't now then I'd probably burst out crying.
As I leave the cafe I'm blinded by flashing lights and people screaming my name. Lots of people.
----------------------------
My heartbeat begins to quicken and I can't control my thoughts. All I can remember is racing round the corner and dropping onto the pavement.
'For fucks sake, Y/N I really need you to look at me right now. Take some deep breathes okay? What are 5 things you can see?'
I'm still unsure who I'm talking to but I answer anyway, begging to break out of this hell.
'Uhm - the er.. the pavement, my rings, my shirt, the clouds, you. I see you.'
'Yeah well, all I've ever seen is you.'
They mumbled.
Huh? Fuck Y/N focus. Who is this??
----------------------------
It must of been a good 15 minutes until I could focus again. I'm sat here facing Andrew, Ziggy and Brian and some of the other guys, who all just look at me like I'm some abandoned puppy. But I just can't get that moment out of my head.
'Yeah well, all I've ever seen is you.' They mumbled.
Andrew wouldn't of said it. So? Shawn? It might not of even happened. Where even is he?
