SOPHIE
As Biana and I descended down the stairs I started feeling a little self-conscious about my outfit, it revealed a little more skin than I was usually comfortable with, but it was good to step out of your comfort zone every once and a while.
I was wearing grey sweatpants and a very cropped tanktop that showed quite a bit of my chest and my non-existent abs. I did bring my favourite sweater though and I wrapped that around me but didn't zip it up.
Fitz just stared which made me feel gross and want to pluck his eyes out whereas Keefe looked for a moment his eyes widening slightly before casting his gaze away unlike Fitz who eventually got the message, a little late though.
While we were gone the boys both dragged armchairs in front of the couch Keefe and I were sitting on with a coffee table separating us. I settled back into my original spot and so did Keefe though Fitz was clearly aiming for it.
I peered over at the assortment of snacks. There were various gummies, popcorn, chips and an entire bowl full of packets of candy. I took a packet of skittles and a couple of chips and put them into the empty bowls.
"Whose going first?" Biana asked, Keefe started to volunteer but she cut him off, "No one? Perfect, Keefe truth or dare?"
"Truth?" He said a little unsurely, with the look in Biana's eye I would definitely avoid choosing dare as well.
A glimmer of annoyance showed in her eyes but she gave him a question nonetheless. "What's the stupidest thing you've ever done for a dare?"
"The great gullon incident." He replied confidently.
I'd heard of it before but no one had ever given me a straight answer. "Why what happened?"
"That's a really great question, I love the energy but I don't think I can provide those details at this time." He replied assuming a businesses person like voice.
I rolled my eyes, "Alright then."
"Now, my turn, Fitz truth or dare?" He said innocently.
"Dare." Fitz replied, stupid idea but okay you do you, I thought.
"Make out with this bowl for a minute." He said handing Fitz a bowl.
His cheeks flushed, "Absolutely not, there's no way I'm doing that."
"Damn, always knew you were a wimp, right Sophie?" He said giving me a look that I think meant play along.
"Yeah," I said, "What a bummer."
He scowled, "Thirty seconds."
Keefe happily agreed and handed him the bowl. I started the timer on my phone for thirty seconds. I was somewhat tempted to set it to a minute but that just be kind of mean.
"Three, two, one, go!"
He closed his eyes and started kissing the bowl rather passionately, it looked ridiculous, I doubled over in laughter and so did the others, I think even Fitz was laughing a little. The sight was absolutly hilarious, if you'd told me this morning that Foxfire's golden boy would be making out with a bowl tonight I probably wouldn't believe you.
"Okay...and, stop!" I said just as the alarm dinged.
He put the bowl down faster than I thought was possible, "I hate you Keefe, so much." He said but his tone was light and joking.
"That's fun, okay it's your turn now."
I was dreading he would pick me and ask something I didn't really want to answer, but he picked Biana.
"Truth or dare?"
"I'm probably going to regret this, but the truth." Biana said.
"So, I've been hearing the rumours, what's going on with you and Tam?"
I whipped my head around at her, she said her life was boring, liar!
"Nothing actually, we were just hanging out like with a group of friends and someone got a picture of us at an angle that made us look closer than we are and posted it, it was like a month ago and I'm still hearing about it." She said simply, it didn't look like she was lying either.
"Oh." Fitz said, "Okay, it's your turn now."
"Sophie truth or dare?"
"Dare," I replied, I knew she wouldn't make me do anything too embarrassing in front of Keefe considering she loved the idea of us.
"I dare you to hold hands with Keefe for the rest of the game." Could she be any more obvious?
"Ew, no we're going to get all sweaty and gross."
"He can put his arm around you if you'd prefer?"
I rolled my eyes, "What do you want to do?" I asked Keefe.
He wordlessly put his arm around my shoulders and I shrugged, "Alright this it is than, Fitz truth or dare?"
"Dare." He replied.
"What's the last text you sent?" I asked.
He pulled out his phone and showed it to us, it was just him replying to his dad that he was going to be home instead of out with friends tonight.
"Oh really? That's so boring! I thought we were going to get juicy hot gossip on your love life or something!" I joked.
"Nope."
ooo
KEEFE
For an hour or two we spent the time giving out and receiving stupid dares and questions, I have to say, at least no one was dared anything that bad, Sophie nearly got electrocuted somehow when plugging in her phone, how she managed that? No idea.
Something about her made me feel kind of nervous, I didn't really talk to girls all that much, I just did my best to cruise through school with good enough grades my father won't get me in trouble and will give me the freedom to do whatever as long as I don't hurt his reputation.
"Okay, um Biana truth or dare?"
"Dare."
"I dare you to lick a wall," Sophie said.
As it got later and later and we got more tired the dares went from funny to what are we even doing right now.
"Okay," Biana shrugged and promptly fell out of her chair, "I'm okay, I'm okay, no need to worry about me, ladies and gents." She then got up and licked the wall.
"Cool," Sophie said. "I'm like half asleep right now, I think I'm just going to go to sleep."
I stayed up late all the time so I wasn't super tired, but the two of them looked like they'd fall asleep in a minute. "Yeah, c'mon Fitz, we should do the same."
