While she was sleeping on the other side of the city, Toronto, he was already working. In his flower shop, he knew he wanted to become a florist when his mom died. She had cancer and because of her unbelievable high amount of cigarettes every day, it didn't really surprise anyone that she had lung cancer. Five months after the family found out, she was dead.
Since than, it has been a year. Thirteen months to be exact and slowly he was starting to recover. His dad though, wasn't a big help. Going through all that pain, without anyone supporting you is making everything just harder and more complicated.
Even though, he somehow almost fully did it. The inspiration to become a florist, was totally his mom. He didn't know anyone who had such a beautiful connection to roses, especially roses.
But not only red ones, she had a lot of favorites. And because of his moms addiction to these roses, they became his favorites too. But he realized that way too late, she was already gone.
And he couldn't do anything against it, he wasn't able to save her from her death. Even though she had saved him so many times.
His optimism, turned a quick turn after he realized that she wasn't gonna come back. All of the thoughts he was spending, on her coming back agin were not helping. Now he was here, almost alone.
But since corona is almost over, his business started to run again. That was helpful, having costumers, that check on you every week.
There is one old lady, called Mrs. Adams, she comes every Friday by. She always asks him for a colorful bunch of flowers.
Last Friday it was a purple one, tomorrow she will be here again. But now its time for him to go home again, getting his mind off of all the new orders.
Currently it was august 4th, 5pm.
On his way home, he went into the coffeeshop, across the street and ordered a cup a coffee. Like he did almost every afternoon. In the mornings, there wasn't enough time usually, even though he was running the whole store, his two coworkers could get easily mad at him for being too late.
Natascha and Nial, they were like his two siblings. Both 21, they knew each other since Highschool and decided to work at the store together.
Finn was really thankful for their help, he doesn't know what e would be doing without these two angels.
While sipping his coffee, he notices two middle aged men, with cameras, they aren't walking in the shop, they simply wait outside and still they are staring inside the store.
A couple next to him looks at the to paparazzi too, then they both turn there heads looking in the opposite direction, there was a girls with a hood over her head, it is covering almost her whole face.
She's sipping her coffee and despite the fact, that she's wearing comfortable cloth, she doesn't look completely comfortable.
He continued to look at her, every once in a while he stopped himself and took a turn to look at his cup, then his phone and back to her. She's moving, standing up, she was about to leave the shop, when one waitress approached her and gave her an umbrella.
Finn is totally confused, its not raining outside, is the dump? The mysterious girl, shook her had, you could see a smile escaping her lips, gave it back to her and opened the doors.
Now the two paparazzi came to her asking her questions, she just looked down and walked over to a black, quite nice car, that Finn didn't notice before.
When he counted one and one together, he thought, that she must be some kind of celebrity.
It's not like he was really to see her face, through the hood of her sweater, but its not like he knew her or something.
