The families sat in silence waiting for the ETF to question them. Though, the Goenkas didn't want Krishna to engage herself into any of those things. Naksh had clearly and sternly told them that she had every right to question and to have her answers. He had seen that look in Krishna's eyes. The same determined look which Naira had every time she took a decision for herself and he knew what had to be done.
Sameer: Riya ne hame vo sab bataya hai jo vo janti hai. So now the question is, vo kya nahi jaanti.
Naksh looked as if lost in a dreadful memory before he shook his head and took a deep breathe.
Naksh: Duniya ke liye Krishna Goenka kidnapping case ek child trafficking case hai but that's not the whole truth.
The family looked at each other and then at Riya. Their eyes held the vulnerability they felt. Krish knew the look in his father's eyes. He was afraid that the truth might just harm his sister rather than healing her. Without a word he stood up from his seat and stood beside Riya.
You came...
I shall always...
Though everyone saw this change, none commented. Family, because they knew what Riya meant for Krish and ETF because, they didn't know what exactly they could say.
Naksh: Krishna ki kidnapping asal me ek business rivalry ki wajah se hui thi.
The team along with the youngsters looked at each other confused. If it was a simple rivalry, how did it get to so many deaths and kidnapping cases?
Naksh: Par baat wahi khatam nahi hui. Kyuki hum sab ko lagta tha ki Krishna was a still birth child, we never looked onto a different angle. Ise kismat hi kahenge jo hamari jis beti ko hamne mara hua samajh liya tha, vo ek din achanak hamare saamne aa gyi.
Kartik and Naira had gone together towards the market. Kairav was starting his painting classes soon. They had decided to get him the best of the materials, be it drawing sheets, pencils or paints. Kartik like always was on his super protective mode. He didn't want Kairav to get any infection or rashes due to the poor quality of paints.
Naira: Kartik, tumhara na kuch nahi ho sakta. Kitna tang kiya tumne us bechaare shopkeeper ko.
Kartik looked at her with a scowl.
Kartik: Kya galat kiya? Tumne dekha nahi kaise koi bhi product utha ke de diya tha usne. Na ingredients ka koi ata pata, na chemicals ka dhyaan. Bas, saaman bechne baith gye janab.
Naira: Aree, use laga tha paints tumhaare aur mere liye lene hai. Isiliye adult product diya. Baad me to sahi diya tha na. Tumne phir bhi kitna sunaya usko.
Kartik: Haan, to? Tumne dekha nahi kitni dhool thi us jagah jaha paint boxes the?
Naira: Itni bhi nahi thi. Utna to roz saaf karne ke baad bhi wapas se ho hi jata hai. Main road ki shop hai, dhool to jaayegi hi na.
Kartik: Haan to saaf karna chahiye, na.
The couple continued their bickering when suddenly a small girl came in front of their car while running. Kartik pulled the breaks instantly as they came out of the car towards the girl who by then laid on the ground breathing heavily. Her condition wasn't good. Clothes tattered, lips bruised, a swell on the forehead, bleeding nose. She also had burns on her arms and legs and nail marks on different parts of her body. Kartik instantly took out his coat covering the little girl while Naira patted her cheeks trying to wake her up. They were in a pretty scheduled area. There was a forest just beside the road they were driving through and the girl was running out of the forest. Kartik took the girl in his arms and kept her on the back seat, laying her in Naira's lap and drove towards the hospital.
