Walking on and about on the busy, Rose streets.

Yes, that was an every day method of yours.

Really, you always had to come up with the same problem; watching lovesick couples every day. Sure, you got used to it, but finally after a very long time passed. And when I say long, I mean it.

Yet, people wondered how you continued to be single. I mean, who wouldn't like to go out with such a beautiful, shy, adorable girl like you? Everybody did; just had the fear that you'd refuse because of your shyness.

And not knowing about this made you sad. It made you feel lonely every day, apart from living with your best friend Maia in the same house. And how did you get tired of her?

Because she always brought her boyfriend (CIERU BB HOHOHOHHO) home and they did everything together. They'd watch movies, make dinner, or even tend the gardens together!

Really, you had gotten sick of all this love crap. You were done with waiting-

Your thoughts were interrupted as you suddenly hit somebody. You immediatly looked up to see a short man, whom was still slightly taller than you, with jet black hair and glistening silver eyes. He frowned, glaring at you once you noticed you had accidentally hit his drink and poured it all over his jacket.

He lowered his phone, meaning he was on a phone conversation, until it hung up. "You just made me spill my tea," His amazing, yet threatning and terrifying, voice gritted through clenching teeth.

"I-I'm really s-sorry!" You chided in immediatly, cowering down in fear. You dared not to look up at this man...

Little did you know that one little encounter would change your entire life...

"Look up at me." The man said, even more firm than before. You hesitantly look up at him. It was Maia's boss; the infamous Mr. Levi Ackerman. "I-I really apologize, M-Mr. Ackerman..." Your voice trailed as you took notice he was staring into your eyes, as if trying to intimidate you... but somehow failing himself at it.

Shyly, you broke the gaze, looking back down. "I'm s-sorry, sir... i-is there anything I-I can do to make it up to you?"

He scoffed, looking away as well. "For starters, you could get me another tea. And second, you could get my jacket washed, um..." He didn't seem to catch your name. "(Y/N). (Y-Y/N) (L/N)." You told him. "Yeah... (Y/N)." Your eyes narrowed at his rudeness. He seemed like a nice man at first. But, heck, forget everything you thought about him being cute! Okay maybe he was cute... but he was mean!

"Alright..." You said silently, huffing irritatedly. "Here's my adress. Drop it off with the tea as soon as you can. Start tomorrow." He sighed, walking away as he took his jacket off, leaving him with a black sweater ontop of a white, long sleeved shirt.

Why would he give somebody his adress that easily? You thought to yourself, looking down at your dark brown winter boots.

You suddenly look up, only to feel gusts of cool wind against your (h/c) locks, and as the wind picked up, so did the newborn snowflakes. They each had their own special little gift; their own pattern. Just like you. Or anyone, on that matter.

Maybe even the man?

Shaking your head, you began making your way back to your house. You had gone through enough this afternoon already. And you didn't want anymore trouble.

Once you opened the door, you met up with your best friend Maia and her boyfriend Ciel watching a movie. You ignored them, walking up the stairs and to your bedroom. "(Y/N)?" You heard Maia call after you, but ignored her nonetheless.

Tomorrow would be a very busy day for you, all right.

Stirring on your bed, your (e/c), dazzling eyes slowly fluttered open, feeling your (h/c) mop of hair scatter across your face. You simply giggled, flicking the locks away with a sleepy face. Sitting up, you rubbed your eyes, looking out your window in attempts to recover your eyesight.

Your eyes finally gave in, giving you the sight of a lovely snowfall taking place that very morning. It seemed so beautiful, quiet and absolutely perfect for a relaxing day. Unlucky for you, work was to tumble on your way. And you knew that. But not just any kind of work; Ackerman's work.

A dry sensation perched upon your throat, realization and hunger taking up every spot of your mind. You stood up, walking over the (floor material) of your bedroom and opening the door. Upon not hearing a noise, you knew Maia and Ciel must've been asleep. After all, he usually stayed over on Fridays and Saturdays after work.

Looking back down the stairs, you slowly stepped over them, careful not to slip and break a bone like Lulu did once, when she was visiting Maia with her boyfriend Grell (what luli wanted this). Grell was a very strange person indeed... wait. Why am I even thinking about Grell? You giggled again, finally reaching the bottom of the stairs and taking a huff of air.

Time to begin a new day.

Coming upon the hardwood dark door of the Ackerman apartment, you knocked twice. Gently and shyly, as if the door were to break down immediatly.

A few footsteps were heard as the door creaked open to reveal Levi himself. "You're here," He grumbled, bringing a cup of tea to his lips. He held the porcelain cup in such a strange manner, it was a miracle he could even hold it without having it fall out!

You quickly looked down, silence enveloping you both until Levi sighed loudly. "Well, what are you doing? Just say something already." You shyly looked up, only to meet a devious smirk gracing his handsome features. Again, you looked down, being the shy (Y/N) you are. But he sighed again, earning your attention.

"Y'know what? Just come in." He moved from the door to allow you to step in, and so you did. Looking around his extremely well-kept and neat apartment, you finally realized you were dealing with a neat-freak. You were lucky you spent extra on the double wash.

"Th-Thank you," Your voice was small and quiet, hushed and sweet. Levi let out another huff of air, closing the door. "Do you have my clothes?" He was back to his stoic self, taking a sip of his warm, mint-scented tea. Most likely mint tea, you thought with a shy smile. Levi noticed the watching, raising an eyebrow. "Um..." He brought up the cup to his lips once again, and you noticed there was a red line running through the rim of the cup. Red.

Your eyes immediatly widened, cheeks puffing out a red shade that would resemble to Ciel's gift to Maia on valentines. The roses. You cringed at the memmory of having to watch your best friend get a gift on that day. That made you sad, knowing you didn't have that kind of luxury. The color red was simply not for you. Any color you say would remind you of this unfariness. So you nodded, handing him the clothes from behind your back.

Your head continued to keep still as your (e/c) eyes bore into the ground emptily. Levi noticed this, putting a finger under your chin and making you look up. "Look up at me. You alright? You seemed a little off when you got here."

Again, the color from your cheeks refused to fade as you nodded, moving your beautiful face away with a hint of guilt. "I'm... I'm a-alright, Mr. Ackerman."

His thin eyebrows knitted together, in hopes of discovering what was troubling such a shy and sweet girl like you. Most would've simply forgotten about the encounter with him, but you stuck to your promise. That was quite... new to him.

"(Y/N), what happened?" His question startled you as you looked up fully this time. "..." You were silent, looking to the side. He came closer, putting a hand on your shoulder.

"It's okay, y'know. You can tell me." Your eyes darted back down, feeling prickly tears surfacing out your eyes. Your emotions were getting the best f you. "I-I don't..."

"(Y/N), crying doesn't suit you. It won't change anything." His blunt statement made you look up again, eyes slightly wider at his truth. "What-"

"But it's alright. I'll be here to help you. After all, it's what you did for me."
