I look at Rowan waiting for an answer.
When he doesn't say anything I turn back to punching the dummy in front of me.
"Aelin I'm sorry I yelled at you but I just don't understand how you would think that sending our daughter away from us is the best option," Rowan tells me; his tone a bit softer.
I look at him.
"I sent her away because I know Lysandra will take of her and I want her to have at least someone she loves with her incase something to us. Because the second Manons grandmother comes through those doors there's about a fifty percent chance of us getting away and that's with leaving people behind. I will not leave anyone behind and I will die if it means protecting everyone!" I tell him.
"Aelin you can't protect everyone!" He tells me.
"Maybe not but that doesn't mean that I won't try!" I say.
He sighs.
Aedion walks in.
"Hey have you seen Lysandra?" He asks walking over to us.
Rowan looks at me to explain.
"Aedion um with the threat of Manons grandmother...Lysandra um decided that she would take Ember away until the threat is over," I tell him.
"What?!" He asks.
I roll my eyes.
"I'm not explaining again. I've already dealt with the yelling from Rowan and I'm not dealing with it from you too," I tell him.
"Aelin that was so stu-" my cousin start butI cut him off by walking away.
I go outside to get some fresh air.
I sigh.
'Maybe sending Ember away wasn't the best option' I think to myself.
I feel someone tap me on the shoulder and I turn; startled. I realize it's Elide
"Hey are you ok?" She asks me.
I nod.
"I'm just thinking," I tell her.
Just then Lorcan, Gaveriel, and Fenrys come out.
"Aelin shes here," Gaveriel says.
"Rowan and Aedion are already fighting," Lorcan tells me.
I gulp.
To prove that Manons grandmother is here a lot of Crochans fly in wyverns.
"Let's do this," I tell them.
