Steve's pov

We get back to mikes house and everyone pretty much runs out of the car I mean I can't really blame them they want to forget the memories that they just came to terms with.

"Mike" eleven says.

Running over to mike as fast as her feet can take her they have a very long tight embrace.

Although I do see will sorta get off to the side watching, I wonder if there is something going on between him and mike.

I walk over to Nancy hoping to catch a moment while she's not with Johnathan but I arrive to late she's already pressing her lips against his with a smitten look.

It still kinda hurts but for ever reason not as much. I turn around and head back towards the group Lucas is not here I notice neither is max.

"Hey where's max and Lucas"

Everyone stops to look at me.

" what" I ask.

Eleven looks at mike signaling him to respond for her .

" Shes in a coma we did not get to her in time" mike says.

" Lucas is in the hospital with her waiting for her results to come back".

"Is she gonna be ok" I ask.

"We don't know" mike responds.

"Well uhh anyone who wants to hitch a ride speak now or forever hold ur silence" I say jokingly.

Trying to lighten the mood.

But I just receive a eye roll form Robin and a snicker from Henderson. " I need a ride" Henderson mumbles .

" Anyone else" I ask .

" Nope I'm gonna hitch a ride with these two love birds" Robin jokes pointing towards Nancy and Jonathan.

I hop in the drivers side and Dustin gets in the passenger side quietly. I start the car hearing the engine roar to life feeling the vibration of the car and we take off.

I look at Dustin through the rear view mirror to see him quietly looking out the window.

" Henderson" I say getting his attention.

" I "know you miss Eddie , I also know that Eddie would not want you to be wallowing in self pity right now either".

"Well he's not here now is he" Dustin says sarcastically .

" come on Henderson I'm just trying to brighten your spirit" I say.

" well it's not really working Steve" Dustin says annoyed.

"Ok how about this what if tomorrow I take you to family video with me and we can hang out" I ask.

" ok fine , but only if I get to pick some free movies no charge" Dustin says.

" you got yourself a deal Henderson" I say.

-time skip-

I wake up the next morning to my really loud alarm clock that's really close to bursting my ear drums.

It's is the only thing that will wake me up on time though everything else I sleep right through. I get up take a shower do my hair up.

Then take about thirty minutes to search for my car keys that where in my pocket for the entire time. I get into the car mentally scolding my self for not checking my pockets to begin with.

I start my car and take off stopping at robins house to pick her up first I pull up to her house and honk the horn about 5 times her parents are never home so it's not really a huge disturbance.

I see Robin running out of the house hair brush in hand.

"Dammit Harrington you scared the shit outta me" Robin says laughing.

" well if I don't honk we will Never be on time" .

"Also I promised Henderson he could come to work with me today".

I say pulling out of the deserted drive way.

-time skip-

After we get to work I go in and begin to organize the movies because people never put them back where they are spouse to go. It annoys me but it's my job after all.

I finally finish putting all of the movies in the correct spot and notice I am no longer in the video store.

But in fact 100% in the good old upside down. I begin to walk around trying to figure out how I was summoned here to begin with.

Then I see him goddamed Eddie munddson " EDDIE" I scream as loud as I can running up to him " Eddie it's me Steve" I reach out to touch him and my hand goes right through shit I think to myself.

I snapped out of whatever that was by Robin.

" Steve, Steve" " you there" " hello" Robin yells.

" yeah I'm here I just spaced out for a second" I say.

"You can't do that shit to me I though you where gonna get taken by vecna" Robin says hitting my shoulder.

" yeah no I'm fine" I say.

"Are you sure" Robin says raising an eyebrow.

" yes I'm fine I promise".

Although that was probably one of the biggest lies I have ever told.
