When we get to Jeanine's house, her mother answers the door, and then there is an awkward moment, 'cause Jeanine's not there.
"Well, where is she?" Nat asks to Mrs. Matthews.
She shrugs, but smiles, which give me the goosebumps, I remember whenever she smiled something bad was happening...
"I knew that baby wasn't yours... " she says with a grin, "The day my daughter took you to her room... So coward... Ha!"
Mrs. Matthews used to be Dauntless, I don't remember why I found that information, but I remember to see a picture of her hugging the son of Dauntless leader at the time.
"A stiff, of course it had to be a stiff!" she exclaims, "She has been talking about the name of the child, Eric, she is keeping IT! But soon enough she'll take care of the father..."
I nod, thanks to Natalie we leave, 'cause these are her exact words.
"Andrew and I need to go to the bathroom... Our bladders are connected, so we really need to go!"
She pulls my arm and we get to a tree, 'cause then it starts to rain.
"Our bladders are connected...?" I laugh a little.
The rain and Natalie's look make me feel ashamed because of that laugh.
"Andrew, don't you get what Jeanine's going to do?"
I shake my head confused, trying to remember of something and then it hits me like a punch... "...She'll take care of the father..."
"She is going to kill Marcus..."
